I was tempted to throw up an image of Oliver's bonce since he's the hype train, but thought better of it.

Draft day is the 24th of November, starting at 6:00 AEDT (Though proceedings won't start for an hour, so it's more like 7:00 AEDT).

Ok, and while I've got you all here, there's a significant change to the site going in over the off season. There's a good chance that passwords will be reset and PM's will definitely be lost.

But, the changes should make for better conversations- and also allow the site to work with tapatalk, which will be nice.

Reduced rotations may mean historic 'heat maps' are less reliable than ever. Aerobically gifted M's and R's will spend more (resting) time in what has historically been the area designated as for 'forwards.' I hope they resist the temptation to create a large number of dual / multiple position players based on a set of assumptions of how the reduced rotations will work out.

I think I would like to see no dual position players - for example, designate a guy like Blicavs as M or R, not M/R. Similarly, make the Dusty Martin type guys M or F rather than M/F. More radically, perhaps create a fifth line of players being those who may well become genuine M/F's by their play rather than their resting pattern. So we would have to select players on the F,M, R, M/F and F lines.

I also think that there are already enough lines but if they did introduce positions it would have to be to make KPDs and KPFs more fantasy relevant

it would be handy to get a list of positions for all players asap for all ORFFF participants for drafting purposes so if anyone who subscribes to SC gold can help that would be greatly appreciated

Definitely think that the M/F position needs to be revisited. Particularly as you say, with resting rotations happening up forward more often- Will essentially mean that we have 14 mid spots to fill!

I can't yet see a way to mine the data, the way it's presented makes it very difficult to copy, probably intentionally
