Always nervy trading away a player, especially one at the higher end but let's kick this trading period into action... Serengeti wish to advise that Shannon Hurn is officially on the market. Current highest bid is: Direct swap of Shannon Hurn for George Horlin-Smith If no higher bid is received before midnight of Saturday October 4 (AEST) then the trade will go ahead as stated above. A higher bid is completely at the discretion of the Serengeti list management committee, they welcome any further bids to be put forward before the deadline

That's probably my fault, was a pretty vague statement! My comment was saying I liked the idea of trading 2 players with potential for 1 with similar, solid scoring history but older (Broughton) and 1 player with higher scoring history (Jaensch) but the problem on my end was I didn't think that Jaensch would continue in that scoring form (no previous seasons similar, Henderson comes back into the team next year). Would be happy to consider with a substitute for Jaensch
ricky henderson? i wouldnt give you Holkys 6 month old half eaten sandwich for him... but thats a different conversation. Can i list two offers then? straight up broughton for atley OR Cross & broughton for Atley/Guthrie? Low upside and longevity obviously but if you have doubts about jaenschs ability to backup at least u know what Crossy will give you?
AUCTION The Coolgardie Prospectors would like to offer up the following players for possible auction: Tory Dickson - Bulldogs Forward, born 1987, 2014 games: 4, 2014 avg:46.25 Honestly, hard to sell really. Has great potential as a speculative pick, so I'm not afraid to keep him, but for the right offer he's available. Xavier Ellis - Eagles Midfielder, born 1988, 2014 games: 17, 2014 avg:67.35 Has previously been a very solid footballer but was cursed by injuries at inopportune times in 2014. Will be solid in a developing Eagles team that will once again be fighting for a finals position. Matt Jones - Demons Midfielder, born 1987, 2014 games: 20, 2014 avg: 70.05 A solid mid in an average team, if the Dees improve so will his scoring. Reliably on the park nearly every week, and a great back-up mid or interchange player. Jamie Macmillan - North Midfielder, born 1991, 2014 games: 4, 2014 avg:63 Starved of opportunity for much of the year, but then was given some games during the finals and did a damn good job in the win over Essendon. At only 23 and with North seemingly on the improve, he could be in for a bright future! Tyrone Vickery - Tigers Forward, born 1990, 2014 games: 12, 2014 avg: 76.83 A solid tall forward with a solid hook that took out Coxy. For this reason I'm not sure I can keep him in my team. A top score of 110 and three scores over 100 shows that he can be a valuable forward. Closing time for my auction will be 23:59 Western time on Saturday 4 October

This was his first season at The Dogs but with a young improving midfield to supply him quality ball, he should really improve his scoring potential in the coming seasons. Chops - I'll offer up my 4th round PSD pick of 65 to nearly-match Crameri's average of 68.

With over 80 points in half of his games, and 3 tons for the season there's plenty of signs to show that he could end up being an elite defender in the comp after he gains a little more experience. <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; height: 15pt; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; width: 266pt; background-color: transparent;] <tr height='160' style='height: 120pt;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; height: 120pt; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]Tom Bell <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]13 <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]63.9 <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]135 <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; width: 266pt; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]Another Blue with only 29 games experience, Tom appears to epitomise the modern day big-bodied midfielder. He had an up and down season, with his average affected a couple of sub appearances, he did however go on to achieve 4 scores over 80 points. With a third pre-season about to commence and a solid position in Mick's best 22, Tom has the potential to be a solid M4, M5. <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; height: 15pt; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; width: 266pt; background-color: transparent;] <tr height='180' style='height: 135pt;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; height: 135pt; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]Sam Kerridge <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]14 <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]51.1 <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]86 <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; width: 266pt; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]Kerridge is another with little experience, only 26 games since being picked up as part of the Gunston trade. After scores of 99, 100, 121 & 143 in 2013, Sando gave him a tagging role in 2014 resulting in only 2 scores over 80. Sam has fwd/mid eligibility and the potential to be a potent high scorer when released from tagging duties, maybe the shackles will be released with the appointment of a new coach at the crows. <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; height: 15pt; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; width: 266pt; background-color: transparent;] <tr height='120' style='height: 90pt;] <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; height: 90pt; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]Jack Fitzpatrick <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]5 <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]50.2 <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]94 <td style='border: 0px black; border-image: none; width: 266pt; background-color: transparent;][span style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri;]Jack is also inexperienced with only 19 games under his belt. With ruc/fwd eligibility and a sure pair of hands he offers scoring potential as both a back up ruckman and a fwd. Best suited for squad duties he may just be the backup required for sides thin on the ground in the ruck department. Ill offer you Blayne Wilson for Docherty Blayne 'the train' Wilson! Jeepers! He's lucky to still beat West Coast, thought he'd be delisted today! Sorry mate, doesn't cut it.

I'll add a little sweetener....Pick#39 and Shaun Grigg (Rich) MID. for Docherty. Grigg played 14 games in 2014 for a 71Av. An ideal Mid No4 or back up, or even on the I/C bench Sorry mate, I doubt I'll be in the draft atpick 39 and Grigg would bebehind my2013 draftees.

Serengeti wish to advise that Shannon Hurn is officially on the market. Current highest bid is: Direct swap of Shannon Hurn for George Horlin-Smith If no higher bid is received before midnight of Saturday October 4 (AEST) then the trade will go ahead as stated above. A higher bid is completely at the discretion of the Serengeti list management committee, they welcome any further bids to be put forward before the deadline Spewing I put Docherty up for auction, I would have offered him and a draft pick to get bunger. Oh well, you win some, you lose some!
