Too inconsistent for my liking. We're heading in the right direction though. If you're after consistency then how about Jack Redden? Jack Redden and pick 15 for Jaeger and Xavier Ellis. I'm going to have to turn that down. But I did have to think about it.
Auction Grant Birchall the 10th ranked defender for 2014. I like the idea of short n sweet so will end 9pm (AEST)Sunday 5th October - happy bidding
With less than one hour to go there's been a few bids come close, but nothing that has quite tipped me over the line to part with Jaeger...
...and we're done for the Jaeger O'Meara Auction. I didn't quite get an offer that made me want to give him away. Some people may think I was being too greedy or too difficult, and maybe I was, but I knew what I wanted (or there-abouts) and that kind of offer never came through. Thanks to all who placed offers, and helped keep the auction exciting!

While I'm looking forward to belting you again in the Nugget Cup, I'm not sure that collection of players will help me... Pffft, didn't think you'd accept the bid, only put them up as penance for admitting to having a soft spot for that purple team. Told them if that was their attitude they might as well go down the road and play for your mob. Must admit it worked a treat, they've started their own training regime and are primed to pants the Prospectors next time we meet. I've seen the determination in their eyes, these bugs have bite!

Auctions Time for some Gisbornians to enter the auction. I am happy for bundles of players to be put forward (not just one for one). Don't offer me any stand alone picks after 40, I won't accept the bid Richard Douglas - The 27 year old Adelaide star averaged 89 this year for the Grenades, and would be a good addition to any midfield Patrick Ambrose - Amidst the Bombers scandal crisis, Ambrose stood out, and for years to come should be a firm claim to a position in the Dons forward line Michael Apeness - The first selected ruckmen in last years draft, who knows how well Apeness will turn out? Brendan Whitecross - An injury curtailed Hawk who on his day could become a regular in the Hawthorn backline, and at only 24 years old he has lots of time to do it The above auctions will conclude at 4.30pm AEST Thursday this week Finally, two players who I expect a few bids for... Jack Billings - A superb first season from this youngster has many calling him a star already, and he's only 19! Jack Steven - The 24 year old Saints player was the first pick for Gisborne in last years draft, but his output last season was less than expected. Still averaged 89 and a possible star of the future The final two Gisborne auctions will conclude at 4.30pm AEST tomorrow, Monday 6th October

Surprisingly little interest - late turn up perhaps.
BID Tyze only offering this because theres been bugger-all other interest and im certain u will want more, but just so u can say theres at least been a couple of bidders - my 3rd & 4th pre season draft picks mate
ddsaints wrote: Bid I'll offer PSD 14 for Steven Far too low. Steven was Pick 8 in the initial draft - his value hasn't decreased by that much, if at all. Sorry dd, but you way off there insider wrote: BID Jaensch for Steven mate? The is better. Unfortunately, I am worried about Jaensch backing it up.
