I'm happy to put my hand up to assist Damo with reviews/blog posts. I'm a no to LTI/rookie lists Don't care about MSD draft order Don't care about list sizes but if there is a change it has to be at the end of next season Has to be some sort of penalty for not submitting a team, particularly for repeat offenders Happy to have trading during the draft but not thrilled about trading next year's draft picks. It doesn't feel right to be able to trade next year's picks before this season has even started. If we were going to allow it, what's the point of waiting til the draft? I can't help but think it may have changed my and other people's trading strategies if I had known I would be able to access next year's picks - opens up a lot of possibilities. I think a significant change to how we can trade needs to be brought in with plenty of notice, ie after the season.

I will open some polls for the individual stuff above (sorry, I know a lot of you have already expressed opinions). Also, it was me that deleted bryzza's 5 duplicated posts #postgate

Ok; Match updates/reviews - Home team Trade during the draft - Why the heck not! LTI/Rookie list - No, in our 2nd season we should better understand what is required from our lists MSD order - I'll be near the top for position & points scored ;) so don't care either way, although I do see the merit in points scored No team submitted - Last weeks team should count, if it wins, it wins. Failure to submit a team on 3 or more occasions should result in a draft penalty, end of first round selection sounds good to me.

I agree with most of what has been said so far. Match updates/reviews - Home team Trade during the draft - No, you can trade after the draft. This will ensure those who want to improve their lists can do so by delisting players use PSDs and then trade players. LTI/Rookie list - No, we might as well increase our player lists by 2 and make mandatory delisting at the end of the season. MSD order - Points scored is logical as you can often win with a low score and have an improved position on the ladder which is really only temporary due to lucky wins. No team submitted - Last weeks team should count. Failure to submit a team on 3 or more occasions should result in a draft penalty.

    Trades during draft
No, trades can occur once the pre-season draft is completed.

    Rookie list/LTIs
I'm also a no on this one unless we increase the list size to say 28 and that there is mandatory delisting of 3 before the pre-season draft.

    MSD Order
I think points for is a much fairer option.

    No team entered
If you don't field a team, for the first time you get last weeks posted team, for the second time you will get zero, for the third time you will get zero, your first 3 rounds of post season draft picks will be lost and serious questions will be asked about your commitment with the possible removal from ORFFU.

    Match review
Homes teams will be required to post a match review no later than 2 days after the last AFL match (i.e. last game on Sunday, review posted on Tuesday). During Finals, match reviews will be completed voluntarily be they a participating coach or not, however the participating coaches get first option.

    Final Structure
    In the first week the finals structure will be 1st v 5th, 2nd v 6th, 3rd v 7th & 4th v 8th.
In the second week of the finals, the four winners from the previous weeks finals will playoff in seeded matches, the winner of 1st v 5th will play the winner of 3rd v 7th and the winner of 2nd v 6th will play the winner of 4th v 8th.

    [/b]Rookie list/LTIs
[/b]No Rookie List but an IR spot works well in the NBA comps. I'm up for having 1 spot where you can stash a player if they are out for an agreed amount of time (say 6 weeks+)
then are allowed to pick someone up from the list of available players. You would need to drop someone again to re-activate said injured player. We would need to vote on the possibility of 'stashing' a random injured player into an empty IR spot - adds and extra element in the NBA caper.. I'm up for it in ORFFU
    [/b]MSD Order
[/b]Points for is fair and fine

Aha now there are two of us keen for an IR! At this rate by 2022 we may have the numbers to introduce it!

bryzza going for youth and versatility with Petracca. Definitely surprised me with that pick. Interested to see who he goes for with pick 4 or 5 or whatever his next one is! Over to Holky who owns 73 draft picks at this stage so could pick anyone ;)

nailed it on the head insider. A genuine goal kicker that will always rotate through the midfield, a huge risk being a melbourne player but one that will bear fruit for next 10+ years.

Surprised me as well as I thought the Vikings may have gone established players first. However first in best dressed for the rookies.

I had thought Miles would go pick 1, but I guess you can't go past a FWD/MID with the potential to be the next Dustbin Martin.

Good to see there is a bit of interest in Steele, I was desperately hoping I hadn't gone early on him. In saying that, I would have preferred McGovern, but some people just want to see the world burn, as they say :D Also, had I been in Bryzza's position, I reckon Petracca is a good selection. A young player with DPP status should see him in good stead for a few years

Up until two weeks ago I was going to take miles but for my team I was lacking depth in forward line with most likely ziebell and mitchell being mid only 2016.

I agree bryzza - last night I was doing some last minute decision checking and not being highly in the know about this year's SC (cricket still takes precedence for me atm) I was surprised by how many good midfield options there were. Obviously there was Boekherst and co who are in everyone's teams at the moment, but there are also some very good options who I haven't seen or heard much about. Meanwhile, as you said, Petracca and Steele are streets ahead of everyone else in regards to forward rookies who haven't been picked in this comp yet, so glad I picked up Steele when I did. Also, I think I have a very strong looking squad for years to come :D Maybe not this year, but next year could be a very good year for the Grenades
