I have very little forward depth now that Josh Thomas is caught up in this investigation and Ben Reid can't get on the park :O

So...my trades worked out ok, Docherty 147 traded for Crouch now out for probably another 6 weeks & Bell with 115 traded for PSD 51 that I didn't even use! The boys must be happy at their new clubs!!!

Maybe I tempted fate by offering up Jaeger for trade. Looks like both the Supercoach gods and the ORFFU gods decided to punish me for it! His season is as good as over... ...and as an Eagles fan, I'm upset that Mitch Brown looks to be in the same boat.

The boys must be happy at their new clubs!!! Stop fretting there, E-E. Crouch ran around today in a SANFL game and did quite well. Probably back next week maybe. But I am happy so far, with Docherty (147)and Adams (108)whom I finished up with out of that trade for Crouch. <p abp='673]'The match was also Matt Crouch's second trial and his first full game since recovering from a pre-season ankle injury. <p abp='674]The inside midfielder is a cut above SANFL level and dominated with 34 possessions, six marks and a classy snapped goal after intercepting a kick-in'.

Wrong crouch mate.

Gisborne welcomes the news that Jarrad McVeigh will return for the trip down the highway to play Korumburra. The midfield, as well as the leadership team, will be strengthened with his return

So far it appears to be a win / win trade for both clubs, as expected, with both lining up and delivering in the respective best 15's in round 1. Old Brian has been known to get a little over exuberant with choke holds, etc. when emotions run high, so we'll be doing our best to rattle our old comrade's cage this week...

Looks like my team has been completely decimated this year. I'm already struggling to field a side, and now Ollie Wines has probably broken his arm. There won't be finals for the Prospectors in 2015 unless something turns around in a very big way. Is it too soon to be saying 'Roll on 2016'???

You sound like an Eagles supporter on the Big Footy forum. Next thing you'llbe blamingyour losses on Priddis. When'sThe Nugget Cup again ;)

But Priddis doesn't play for the Prospectors. I picked most of my original team on aggregate rather than averages - clearly thats working for me this year... Looking for a big win today. JJK to bag another 10. Go Eagles!

I know this was discussed before the season started and I even voted against it. But with the decimation of a few teams not being able to field a full team we could again discuss this end of season to expand teams to 30. Not being able to field a team certainly takes the fun out of the competition not only for the owners but also for the opponent. Thoughts.................

I hear ya bryzza, I'm sure it will be a discussion point at years end. In saying that there are teams in ORFFA that can't fill a team either with an expanded list.

There's plenty of teams not having a problem fielding a full team and emergencies. Its all luck of the draw stuff really, and right now some of us are suffering much more than others! I still don't agree enough with increased lists to support the idea.
