    Didn't think 2016 MSD picks could be offered yet. From another thread Len wrote:
    This period is quite different due to the lapping of trade periods over both delistment and drafting periods. Below is a C&P of the approach I proposed which received no dissenters and a couple of qualifying answers that should help tie it together for everyone.
    Putting this back on the Agenda;
    In order to trial this as discussed above we would be looking at the following Mid Season schedule;
    - We will have a dedicated trade period commencing after lockout for Round 10, 8.10pm 5th June (Players traded would still have their scores for that round count as selected). (Trade window stays open until midnight Tuesday 30th June, with a brief pause on the 21st June)
    - We delist to the required number by midnight Saturday 20th.
    - Sun 21st to get lists correct and threads started etc for Draft period, no trades to occur until 5pm.
    - Draft to commence Sun 21st at 5pm or when first pick is taken after that time, trading can recommence.
    - We wont be drafting deep and should conclude within 3 or 4 days, trade window closes midnight Tuesday 30th for season recommence on the 2nd July.

    all normal assets to be traded, the MSD picks during the MSD will add a layer of complexity and may need me to manage aspects in running differently, but if we are going to test it we may as well test it properly.
    PSD2016 picks can also be traded but MSD2016 picks cannot be traded at this time.

    Chris I will offer my first and second round 2015 MSD picks (#10 & 28), not interested in either of the players

    Pending Jim's response I'll wait on advising which bid might be leading the auction. I was about to say a bid was in front/had met reserve, but probably better we clarify this one first.

    Hopefully Jim gets back in touch ASAP on this one.

    After a bit of consideration I'm putting up this auction:
    For Auction: My 2016 First Round PSD pick (currently around pick 13), with optional add-on of either Tom Jonas or Adam Cooney (or neither).

    I'm after a first round MSD pick from this year, and something else - be it another MSD pick in the second or other rounds you're not going to use , a later 2016 PSD pick, a player you are happy to part with, whatever takes your fancy.

    You can also choose if you wish to accept or not accept Tom Jonas or Adam Cooney. Jonas is a youngish (24) defender at Port who plays every game, averages about 60ppg and would be a very handy back-up or could even pass as D4 if you are hit by injuries or lacking depth. Cooney is a M/F who averages around 65-70ppg and, again, would be handy bench value or back-up at F4.

    Given the youth of many of the guys on my list, I'm happy to trade my PSD pick to someone who is keen to pick up quality in next year's draft. But given injuries and retirements, I am more in need of another good MSD pick now I guess.

    Feel free to bid or ask questions. Auction will be open until Tuesday June 16 at 10pm Melbourne time.

    Thanks!
    Chris, for your[span style='color: black; padding: 0cm; border: 1pt none windowtext; border-image-source: initial; border-image-slice: initial; border-image-width: initial; border-image-outset: initial; border-image-repeat: initial;] 2016 First Round PSD pick and Adam Cooney I offer pick 8 at the 2015 MSD and my 2016 Third Round PSD pick.

    For auction Marble Bar's PSD round 1 pick, currently pick 4.
    As a baseline in return I am looking for a player aged between 21 and 26, consistently playing and averaging at least 80 as a fwd or back, 85 as a mid. <div>I don't want 2 players, just one worthy one to play alongside the young Misfits.
    Sweeteners on top of that one player are welcome. For clarity; consistently playing /= injury prone & at least 80/85 means more than that, not less :p I have a certain type of player in mind, not all players that meet the criteria will reach reserve, if I can't get someone the cheer squad will get excited about than I will use the pick myself. FWIW and for quality comparison shopping, picks 4 to 12 at the last PSD were; Jeremy McGovern
    Stefan Martin
    Christian Petracca
    Darcy Moore
    Hugh Goddard
    Connor Blakely
    Paddy McCartin
    Angus Brayshaw
    Jarrod Pickett
    <div>
    Auction to end Thursday 6pm AEST or 48 hours after reserve is called reached.

    Thanks for the bids.

    This bid just slightly goes ahead. The trading of Adam Cooney is cool ... if he has to go then he has to go. But this bid is slightly ahead as I get a better return in terms of MSD and PSD picks.

    I don't mind Currie, grav, but he isn't getting a senior game (unfortunately, as he can play).. I've already got a backup ruckman in case the Mullet goes dowm - though I don't wish for that to occur!!

    My dad was a banker many moons ago - one thing he taught me was the importance of serviceable insurance policies.

    I'll bid PSD pick 33 - the one you sent my way a couple of days back P'rap - for an insurance policy.
