I just love drafts - the way everyone is bullish (see the club crest) about the players they have selected before we settle back into the drudgery of injuries, green and red vests, bad selection decisions both in the afl and ORFFA and poor performances by both old and new players. The recurrent question 'did I really draft that guy' will be with us soon enough. That feeling of hope will not be back with us until far off early 2016, so breath in and enjoy it right now. So true graeme. i still remember the feeling I had when I was able to draft Jimmy Toumpas! I had been hoping and hoping he would fall to my pick. How happy I was to draft him. But he's been a chocolates to boiled lollies story at Gariwerd. He hasn't done much for us.

Looks like Essendon have put the cue in the rack. Colyer and Bellchambers both out for rest of the year or a good portion of it. ...

In other news disillusioned Essendon members questioned whether the club owned a cue or a rack.

There's actually photos of Bellchambers running laps at training late last week.

Clearly something has gone amiss in the past couple of days by the looks.

Some might think that is an ugly pick bama - but I reckon it is a beauty. An excellent example of lateral thinking.

Using pick 24, the Nuffers are pleased to call out to Alex Sexton M/F, come on down. That concludes our business here at the draft. Lets find a tittie bar boys.
