Apologies, saw the most recent pick was 31 and knew I had 33, didn't realise there wasn't a 32! Have actually been checking quite reguarly for that reason... my mistake. #33 Adam Schneider
Had a look at all the ruckmen still on the board and I reckon this bloke might be the highest scorer of all of them, so guess what mate - you will be the No.1 ruckman for the Chooks for the rest of the year. Pick 35 - Farren Ray, MID

Pick 35 - Farren Ray, MID Chief, it was great to see you select Saints wingman Ray, he might not win may hit-outs for Foul Bay but he will provide plenty of run and his contested marking would be the envy of most ruckmen in the comp. I am in the process of writing an article for True Sainters celebrating Farren Ray's 200th game on Saturday night against the club he made his AFL debut for, the Western Bulldogs. I am hoping to publish the Ray milestone article late Saturday morning, when it is published I will provide a link to it in this thread.

............we have grinded to a halt on the back stretch........... Or are we just sitting back, arms crossedand enjoying a smoke after a whirlwind (orgasmic) first 35 picks?

OK, am reluctantly putting Kamdyn McIntosh on the trading block. 21 year old def, averaging 65 ppg in his first year of senior footy and has played every game so far for Richmond. Highly likely to be a DEF-MID next year. I am interested in a decent quality playing ruckman. If you have any interest, let me know.

I'm nervously looking over my shoulder - I think Cam Wood is about to thump me upside the head. Please Cam, don't take it personally. EDIT: Seriously though - looking at something with a slightly more long-term bent. Cam's a decent short term option but gotta continue to look ahead.

We would even take Cam Wood if he was to opt out of his Darraweit Guim contract. There are rumours of discontent.
Ruck men? Do I hear you call for ruck men? Haven't Geelong made them obsolete? Ok, I appreciate that is not helpful, but seriously do you think there will be Cox / Sandiland type ruck men in 10 years' time or will the Blicavs' model be the norm?

A lot might depend on what they do (if they do anything) about the third man up rule. After that free against Chaplin on Friday night - which as a Richmond supporter prompted me to spontaneously toss things up in the air - I'm not sure if even the umpires or the game itself knows what to do with this situation.

IMO chels the Blicavs model won't last even this season, as the physical toll on rucks now with the number of stoppages is huge, and as the season wears on you need to have significant strength to continue to play that role. I also think they will outlaw third man up as it's a mess. I think in ten years rucks will be bigger and stronger than ever, with multiple 7 foot tall rucks, and multiple 6'6 utility midfielders like Blicavs.
