    Gariwerd named Matt Crouch this week. He scored 33. from 32% tog. he played in position on the bench :)

    Had a couple of doubts on Thurlow, Bandit - but he seems to be stepping it up really nicely - learning the trade from some good veterans.

    Chris, I did wonder myself at some point if I was ever going to see the kid get a regular game. The injury to Mackie has helped but now that a few of the Geelong defence stalwarts are starting to get a bit long in the fang, the future looks bright. I nearly pulled the trigger and delisted pre-season, but glad I stuck with my approach to rebuild

    Can be much easier to pull the trigger than hold the course when it comes to youngsters. As it can sometimes be easier to hold the course than pull the trigger on older guys who might be on the downhill side of things.

    If I look at my original list, I should have trusted in a few others, I offloaded Kreuzer, Zac Clarke and Jaensch too early, but hindsight is always 20/20.

    Cory Gregson was the Round 6 AFL Rising Star nominee, he is yet to make his ORFFA debut after being selected by the Foul Bay Chickens with the penultimate pick at the 2015 PSD, pick number 107.
