Congrats to the Mountain Men. Hard fought, well done. And Bandito on the SC ORFFA League win. Top effort mate.
The Hoppers intra-squad match proved to be a beauty - cant recallbut maybe close to our best score all year. Hops 1267 Vs Hops 1267 Can I just play with myself next season ?

Sorry sNoZ, Len's jurisdiction only stretches so far. I don't think the Commish has this level of endorsement.
Boy look at this, the G Man gets in a Granny and he's all authoritarian !!! Listen Grav, if I wanna play with myself next season, then I just damn well will
The Devils and The Spelunkers have had some great tussles in the past, should be a good curtain raiser to the main match
Cradle Mountain team for the Grand Final of the Zac Dawson Plate In: Jake Lever Out: Lee Spurr (rested) [span style='color: #333333;]DEF Michael Hurley, Sam Gilbert, Nick Vlastuin, Jake Lever (Zak Jones) <p style='margin: 12pt 0cm 0.0001pt;]MID Scott Pendlebury, Dyson Heppell, Liam Shiels, Shaun Grigg (Jack Steele) <p style='margin: 12pt 0cm 0.0001pt;]RUC Jake Spencer (Jordan Roughead) FWD Dayne Zorko, Drew Petrie, Adam Goodes, Daniel McStay (Jay Kennedy-Harris) INTER David Zaharakis, Steve Johnson Cradle Mountain get their ideal outcome from the first two weeks of the Zac Dawson Plate, progressing to the Grand Final to play their arch-rival, their alphabetical and geographical neighbour, Charlie's Opening, for much of the past two seasons there has been little separating the two clubs on the ladder as well with the Devils getting the edge in 2014 and the Spelunkers having a the slight upper hand in 2015. As Bandit mentioned there have been many several great tussle's between the ORFFA's two Tasmanian club's Charlie's Opening and Cradle Mountain in the relatively short history of the League. Whilst it might be labelled the Who Cares Cup, the annual clash between the two Tasmanian teams in the ORFFA is one of the biggest days on the Tasmanian sporting calendar, and Australia's smallest state is relishing the two club's going head to head for the second time in 2015 with many Apple Isle residents travelling to the mainland to watch the curtain raiser between Charlie's Opening and Cradle Mountain followed by the ORFFA 2015 Grand Final between the Birdsville Battlers and Larrikin Lagoon, club's that finished the home and away season in seventh and eighth position but with red-hot form belied the odds to progress to play off for the ORFFA Premiership and the right to join Foul Bay (x2) and Iron Knob on the ORFFA honour roll. Last time Charlie's Opening and Cradle Mountain met: In one of the most memorable wins of the 2015 season, despite young gun Marcus Bontempelli being a late withdrawal and a 14 man Spelunker side trailing for most of the game they finished full of running, led by Stephen Hill (149 points and 5 Les W votes) and Mark Blicavs (124 points and 4 Les W votes) Charlie's Opening had a great fight-back road win over Cradle Mountain by 27 points 1,200 - 1,173 in Round 3 2015. The loss was the low-point of the Devils season, being the third consecutive losses to start the season and second in a row by less than 35 points. Cradle Mountain had crisis meetings the following week which resulted in several changes being made including the implementation of a five-man leadership group and the Devils form improved from that point on.

Excellent writeup, all of it - I love it! Looking forward to the match!

[span style='color: #434343; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 16px;]Thanks Bandit and Len [span style='color: #434343; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 16px;] [span style='color: #434343; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 16px;]It was a good experience for the Devils to play for the Zac Dawson Cup and get the win, although some players thought they were meant to emulate Zac's scoring output, hence a very low scoring Grand Final. Cradle Mountain were lucky that two key Spelunkers in Andrew Swallow and Stephen Hill couldn't take their place in the side forcing Charlies Opening to play two men short. [span style='color: #434343; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 16px;] [span style='color: #434343; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 16px;]Cradle Mountain couldn't beat a 14 man Charlies Opening side in the home and away season and only just beat a 13 man CO side in the Zac Dawson Cup final, we look forward to playing a 15 man Spelunker outfit in 2016 and know that if this eventuates the Devils will need to improve in order to be competitive, let alone get the win. <div id='radePasteHelper' style='border: 0px solid red; border-image: none; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden; position: absolute;]
