Sorry Ant, still with Prap if I am just trading picks, I believe there is a fair bit of depth in this draft, and I rate Curren behind Woodward I'm not sure what you mean about the picks. Are you referring to giving me pick 40 in the deal? Pick 22 is an excellent pick in such a deep draft.

Are you suggesting that having 4 picks in first 40 in a deep draft is good enough, and improving your draft position is not a great benefit. I can understand that logic. ok, I'm gonna have a think, cause there's another player that I hadn't previously listed, who I am loathe to trade, but I will consider it and I may place another bid. And it's not Matty Watson lol i don't think I'll place another bid. I personally think my bid with pick 22 is a good offer and it's difficult to improve.

Ok, I'll improve the offer haha How about my last offer, but with PSD pick 18 instead of PSD pick 22. And excluding the MSD second round. I hope that fits

Not giving up an 80+ average defender and a pick mate... sorry, I'll stick with Prap for now, even though your offer is very tempting

I did not realise pick 40 would be so valuable to you. I'll now offer: PSD pick 22, MSD round 1, & Tom Curren... for Mackie. If you are happy with this offer, I will let you decide whether to include PSD pick 66 as well. Whether its in or not, Im ok. Cheers

In my bid for Drew Petrie I will include a player along with PSD pick 37, your choice of 22 year old forward Jamie Cripps or 20 year old forward Liam McBean.

Putting a player up for auction as backline is a lot stronger than previously realised due to acquisition of Nick Malceski and Clancee Pearce's pre season form exceeding expectations. Andrejs Everitt, aged 25, averaged 81 in 2014 from his 17 games. Take out his PCL injury in his last game which he missed the final 4 rounds with and his average is 84.4. Was his breakout year, may take another step this year. Flies under the radar. Looking for a forward with similar output preferably but will take age into account. Also will consider earlyish draft picks and depending on the player, other positions as well. Auction ends Tuesday the 10th at 9pm.

I was actually really concerned you were gonna pip me, cause I made my bid 5.5 hours before the closing time and wasn't gonna have access to net if you had've made a new offer. Was a good auction. I reckon I paid overs, but that's what happens in auctions sometimes. Anyway, I'll take this old prick Mackie (who will slot into my back line nicely) and I may have a beer and Mexican myself :) ... Actually had beer and Mexican last night as a matter of fact.

Ok - I think I am going to have a go at this auction thing. Jonathan Simpkin - 26 MID/FWD - Hawthorn In 2014 he played 16 games avg 60 per game. Games in which he wasn't sub he avg 88. Should get more chances this year and more midfield time, as Hawthorns list ages. Proven performer. I am looking for a draft pick in the top 50. Auction Ends Friday 13.03 @ 5pm Melbourne time.

With all these old players attracting such good auction bids, I'm starting to think that Brent Harvey and Kane Cornes should be on the block.

I could get a first round pick or second round pick for each .... I mean, Brent Harvey's 36 but averaged 108 last year as a FWD/MID, has averaged 100+ virtually every year of the past decade, recorded his best SC scoring average since 2008.

Loyalty to a player can be such a silly thing in situations like this - but he'd be worth a Top 15 draft pick the way things are heading.

Management of the Cows are prepared to listed to offers for a couple of forwards who seem to be pining for a return to the great southern land, viz: Cam Pedersen and James Podsiadly. Both appear to be comfortably in the dee's and Adelaide's top 22 and have pretty solid output. I am interested in improving my draft position and am looking for a deal for a player and one of my draft picks (34, 52, 56 and 58) for an earlier draft pick. The auction(s) will stay open until midnight (AEDST) Tuesday 10th. Get stuck right in lady and gentlemen.

OK, after much thought I'm going to put a player up for auction. ADAM COONEY - 29 year old MID/FWD now at Essendon. 2013 average of 99 at first glance seems to fall away in 2014 (18 games, 81 average). However, in 15 games where Cooney wasn't subbed (subbed out one game with an injury, subbed two games as he came back from injury) his average again sits around 95ppg . Of course, he is now at Essendon and is now a MID/FWD - two circumstances which I dare say increase his value greatly. Unaffected by any potential suspensions at Bomberland, he'll play and play plenty. He is apparently as fit as he has been in a while, and as a FWD holds great value given he'll probably run through the midfield as well. So, 90-95 ppg FWD looking to impress a new club perhaps hit by lots of suspensions. And clearly he has more than just 2015 left in his career as well. If this seems like your cup of tea, feel free to bid. I am after a significant draft pick or a worthy young midfielder. I will also consider a young defender with appropriate scoring ability and youth on his side. 90-95ppg FWDs don't grow on trees, no matter their age. So if your forward line needs an instant boost, here's a chance. I'll advise when reserve is met, and once reserve is met advise when the auction will end. That way everyone can have a think and consider a bid if they want. Thanks

I am also considering an auction of a high-profile 90ppg defender who would be a great addition to many backlines. Stay tuned.

Congrats to Anthak and dmandrews for acquiring Mackie and Petrie accordingly. The team are devastated to be losing Andrew Mackie's wife, who provided a lot of entertainment and eye candy at the coterie functions.
