Congrats to Anthak and dmandrews for acquiring Mackie and Petrie accordingly. The team are devastated to be losing Andrew Mackie's wife, who provided a lot of entertainment and eye candy at the coterie functions. Your loss is our gain I suppose. Looking forward to having them around the place.

Looks like Chris and P'rap could do a deal, Greene for Coondog and that mystery defender

Jen's item interesting. Simpkin could become anything and is at the right age to hit his straps. Dual position as well. If I had not passed on my first round pick I would be tempted - certainly anywhere between 35 and 50.

Can you give a rough average you want the players to have been scoring at? :)

Due to lack of interest, which[span style='background: #ffffff;]is a great surprise, I have terminated the auctions for Pedersen and Podsiadly early. A direct approach when they star in the weekend would be acceptable.

Mr Cooney returns to the Darraweit fold and we look forward to his contributions in coming months.

Putting a player up for auction as backline is a lot stronger than previously realised due to acquisition of Nick Malceski and Clancee Pearce's pre season form exceeding expectations. Andrejs Everitt, aged 25, averaged 81 in 2014 from his 17 games. Take out his PCL injury in his last game which he missed the final 4 rounds with and his average is 84.4. Was his breakout year, may take another step this year. Flies under the radar. Looking for a forward with similar output preferably but will take age into account. Also will consider earlyish draft picks and depending on the player, other positions as well. Auction ends Tuesday the 10th at 9pm. I[span style='background-color: #f1f1f1;]'ll offer 23 yo Gold Coast fwd: Luke Russell Doesn't meet (or get close to) reserve, I don't really call a 48 average a similar output too an 81 average to be honest. :) I just came on here to improve my initial bid, and I've realised this auction is now closed. Oh well.

Most would forecast Green to be 105+ for another 10 years with 120 potential, so just seeing what people are prepared to pay.

Prap re Toby Greene: I will bid: Jarryn Geary D St Kilda. 2014 average 69 (injury affected), 2013 average 80 (riding dramatically late season when played through the midfield as seems to be the plan this year); plus Mitch Robinson M/F Brisbane. SC average 83 (2014), 81 (2013), 88 (2012), 90 (2011). Former Carlton wild man settled into family life in Brisbane and part of the best 22 in a team that sure is to rise up the ranks this year - will play HFF and through the midfield.

I'll make an offer Prap, not sure how it'll fare but we'll see: I'll bid James Frawley (26 year old with both MID DEF and FWD eligibility) - averaged 77 last year while unhappy at Melbourne. One would suspect he'll be far happier at Hawthorn, and Kane Cornes (32 year old MID) averaged 88 last year, 105 in 2013 and has already chalked up a 100+ in pre-season this year. Both durable, simply don't miss games, and are cemented in their respective team's top 12-15 players. Frawley being FWD and DEF also offers flexibility.

I bid: Daniel Wells - last season was ruined by injury but in the 3 years prior to that he played and avg of just over 20 games per year for returns of 96, 99 and 104ppg. & Corey Enright - Mr Reliable. Plays 20 or more games every year and has averaged 89ppg or more for 9 straight seasons. A perennial top 10 defender.

Solid bid and would have been close to reserve if Enright perhaps had a couple more years instead of the likely one. I have pretty high reserve for this player, so if anyone would prefer to negotiate post 5pm feel free to offer then (pending reserve being met).

Ok, I've got a doozy! Im putting this player up for auction: Matthew Watson, Carlton, Def/Fwd Age: 22 2014 SC ave: 79. I remember that at least 1 person has enquired about him whilst he's been on my list, but I can't remember who. The reserve is not very high, /and/ he is a good project player with a lot of potential. Dual position, still very young, and an elite kick! A draft pick would be good in exchange. Auction closes 9:09pm Melbourne time, on Friday February 13... Ok, this has closed... With no takers. To put this in context ant, Watson is still a free agent in the ORFFL and we only are currently deep into the 5th round of our 6 round PSD.

Remember ORFFL delist 6 whereas we delist 4, and we have greater list sizes. I was hoping for maybe a round 4 or 5 pick, which would be equivalent to about Round 8 in ORFFL ;)

Another attempt at an auction. This time for something a little different: I am auctioning PSD Pick #3. What I would like for it is a pick in the top two dozen in the draft (give or take a pick) and a younger fit player that fills a definite need in my team (probably not a forward, but hey, make a bid and see I guess!) The lower the draft pick the better the quality of player which would need to accompany it.But I don't mind dropping from pick 3 to pick 20-something if there's a player in the offing I guess. Maybe you've got too many defenders or mids, maybe you've got too many players from a single AFL club and wish to diversify ... maybe you don't like a certain player's new hairdo or tattoo. Whatever the reason, if you want to jump in and pick high in the draft, get the player you want and shed the player in question, make a bid. I'll let everyone know via the thread here when reserve has been met, and will then post the closing time for the auction at that time too.

While the auction for PSD Pick 3 is still open, I'm going to start a second auction as the clock ticks closer to the end of the trading period:

    PSD Pick 11
Not after any pick swapping or anything like that, after a defender who is a fair and reasonable swap for the pick. Youth, past average/s and future potential will be taken into account. Once/If reserve is met, I'll put in place a closing time for the auction. Thanks.
