    As with all years, the pre-season work has been done, final tweaks as the teams are announced will happen (of course) and we all start on zero points.
    [span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]With all the excitement of ASADA wrapping up in a nice little package, it fills me with much happiness to be rolling into another footy season! Seriously, this saga has striped the joy out of the last few years, so it will be nice to roll into a season, excited about what might be.
    [span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #ffffff;]We'll get the teams posted in this thread as they come out.
    (That said, I'll be heading off camping tomorrow night for the Easter weekend, so I hope that my phone is up to the task! :D If anyone wants to update said teams into the post as they are confirmed, I'd appreciate it!)

      R3 two strategies I can see

      Use your crystal ball to pick which teams lead ruckman is most likely to get injured, then pick a cheapie under $120k and cross your fingers

      Or pick a cheap F/R and if needed you have the option of moving the F/R into your forwards and bring in a cheap playing R3 later on to cover the donut OR to set up a F/R link wth a premo, and cover the donut with your F7 instead.

      now seriously! the author uses the word 'may' and like a hungry fish, please don't bite that shiny hook bobbing in the sea.

      it would be like me saying;

      So the first game is down. Nice to have McIntosh on the field. Reminds me of langdons start last year but at least this time it wont end up being stranded as the Emergency score! Also happy with Simpson who was a late inclusion into my team.

      Crispps was disappointing but im guessing most would have had him on the field? Martin was also a letdown wishing I'd gone bartel instead but only early I guess. Deledio injury/suspension worries maybe?

      I had Deledio for a little bit, then switched to Martin and then 2 weeks ago, decided to go neither and went Franklin. I feel happy with that decision for now.
      I did have Cripps on the field though, but I also had McIntosh as well. Not too bad. Hopefully Franklin kills it against the Bombers like he usually does which will make the decision to ditch Deledio/Martin make me feel good about it.

      I didn't catch a lot of the NAB challenge games as I don't have foxtel anymore, though ended up catching bits. Though he was injured for a lot of last season and from the bits I saw and heard, he did ok in the NAB challenge games.
      I also think with Lumumba leaving, Maxwell retiring and Keefe in his situation, we have spots open down back and I don't think we have a core group down back who have really cemented their positions. I think with our youth and lack of experience, he could get some game time if he plays solid. I think a few players will be playing for spots. He is 22, and had a pre-season and if he plays his role, he will get game time under circumstances.
