So, turns out, when you lose your weekly rollover script in the offseason, weekly rollovers tend to take longer than expected.

Also means that there is a chance that there's bugs and whatnot. So if you notice anything, let me know!

But yeah, everything should be updated, stats, calcs, ORFF*'s, the works.

A quick note to you ORFFA/U guys- I put in the new script that rolls teams over from round to round, but didn't take it out for you guys. Cause the round turnover is a couple of days away, figured that that wouldn't be too bad. :D Let me know if you want keep said functionality, or not. :)

I imagine next week will run smoother as I get back into my groove. Definitely can't go as bad as my team though!

just browsing the net and jumped on the g.coast web site. there is an article ther that said kk was told by the coach to play a shutdown role on Lumumba after quarter time. this might explain why he scored lower than most people think.

sorry to get your mind working but tagger type player + supercoach game = bugger all points

thanks for all the comments guys, keep em comin.
TTH>> maybe im overly optimistic but i can see rich getting 95+ every week. i guess the point youre making though is that you dont see him as a long term keeper. When you suggest going for a more proven scorer, who else do you rate @ Lids' price?
Always great to get fresh perspectives, thanks again for ideas

Dont trade him is my advice

There's absolutely no chance that KK will be a tagger for 22 games this season.

i see wells as much more chnace of scoring 95 plus than rich

Almost any veteran such as Bartel, Goddard, Ryder, Franklin, D Martin and perhaps Bennell depending on which you see as the most likely to score at a decent rate week in week out, season in, season out

actually on 2nd thought if its a 1 weeker for Deledio and you have cover then hold, you might lose 50 points by fielding a rookie

Agree with the Port, I wouldn't be trading him either he's only going to miss one week and you should have bench cover at this time of year.

A mate of mine who's heavily into this game and has been playing for years falls into the same trap every year of sideways trading his premiums. This week he's going to turf Selwood and Goddard after one bad game. Maybe in that other silly game where they give you two trades every week for the whole year you might be able to get away with but in SC it means you burn through the trades and don't get your team fully upgraded.

I agree with Port in a general sense because you selected him as a keeper and he's only out for a week. The only reservations I'd have would be the fact that I heard Hardwick say that Lids will play predominantly forward this year because of his lack of a pre-season. I don't think he will match his average from last year but how much will he drop? I you expect an average of 90 plus then keep but less than 90...

Go Deledio > Dahlhaus. I'm going Deledio > Swan but you've got him already. Deledio does need to be moved on given how he is being managed. Dahlhaus is spending more time in the middle and doesn't rely on goals like Roughead does. Bell & Adams won't score that well across the season

Yes but you got Lids in for a reason and being played in the forward line whilst injured did his scoring no harm at the end of last year.

I'm a Lids owner. It sucks but have to wear it because I don't think it is worth a trade.

If you do trade him out, then he starts getting good and suddenly everyone is bringing him into their teams...are you really going to trade him back in? Wasting two trades for a net gain of nothing?

I realise there are plenty of other factors at play, but its interesting to note that, last season, Lids averaged 93 as a mid from rounds 1 to 11. He began playing more forward from round 12 onwards, and averaged 106 from then on.

so basically, there's no point in even having a % column there - seems strange having it there if it's not a factor really

Stripey, who are you planning on trading Miller for? I would assume that you have Vandenberg, Heeney, Saad and E-Yolman (maybe Anderson as well), so if you have the above I think you should put that trigger finger back in its holster! I have the above 6, so I am happy to leave Miller on the pine and hope he can start increasing his scores.

Ideally Connor Blakely gets picked over the next couple of weeks, but i do have rookie DPP with Saad and Lambert so if a def or fwd rookie turns up it would be them.

My mid rookies are currently VDB, Heeney, E-Y, Jedi, Cripps & Miller.

He might if he continues to do a good job! I assume Heretier was on fire up to quarter time hence the tag. Didnt he end the game with only 73 points?

      Who is GC main tagger?

we all must stay strong and avoid sideways trading madness

Selwood is almost certain to be a top 10 mid this year - unthinkable your mate would trade him

My main concern isnt with him spending more time in the forward line - as Ant says he actually averaged more there last year.
My problem is that even though yes i did pick him as a keeper, i wasnt aware his ongoing 'management' would consist of riding the pine in a red vest with ice on the calf and achilles for the last quarter!

      Hi folks,
Just want to check a couple things, as worried I may be doing something wrong.

Looked up the site for AFL Fantasy first, but from what I can see, the stats on the site do not show the rise/drop in values on the AFL site? e.g. Ebert is showing at $590k which is correct, but it doesn't show that he went up $30k in wk 1. Is the column 'SM 2' showing what he'll rise to next week if he scores the same again? There's no breakeven shown, even though for AFL the value changes kick in right away.

Second thing was uploading my team. I tried it for SC and DT but neither seemed to work - is this function no longer working?

Just not sure if I'm misunderstanding these things!
      Thanks

It's just there to replicate the actual AFL ladder. :)
