3/4 time at KingDome and the visiting P Dogs are putting up a good fight 1155/12 96.25 and the Monarchs 1153/10 115.3. The P Dogs will need some magic in the last quarter to overhaul the Monarchs. ]Game note - Matt Pridis appeared to have his own ball with a 196.

Armadillos vs Grenades @ Ararat Lots of players still to come for Gisborne, including everybody's favourite #gisbornegun, while some poor scores for Ararat have left them needing big games from Dollhouse and Wingard. Score update from Pakenham has the away team holding a comfortable lead heading into the final stages. Solid performances across the board from the Gropers has them on 945 with 4 to play. Pakenham have had more bad luck losing Hogan and emg Carlisle pre game and then captain Roo early on in the piece. A score of 807 with 4 to play doesn't have us in the contest unfortunately. Team selection starting to be a real issue.

Update from the Bulls / Bunyips game. The Bulls are making a fist of it on the road, however the consistency of theBunyips sees them in the box. In the spirit of a close game they have handed Duffman the green vest this afternoon BB 707 / 8/ 88 SFB 926 / 12 77

Well this game has been a nail biter all weekend with some massive scores from Roughy - 145 and the Reigning BigTap - 130 to give both sides hope. Then, there has been the other side with Buntine a no show and Duffman's 25 to ground both sides. I thought the Bunyips had pulled off the coup of the year with benching Atley and putting SD Thompson on the field. Atley started as the sub and I thought this was the week to pull out a big score. Then Geary doesn't start and I realize how much of a bitch SC Gods can be! The Bunyips Interchange bench has helped more this weekend than ever before! Arguable the best of the season! Boyd and Stanton underperforming has really hurt the visiting Bulls, players who should be consistently scoring well over a 100. Jetta played a decent game against the Cats, but didn't score that well either. Final score update to follow shortly. Bunyips - 1087 with Gray 134 and Schulz 93 just finished Bulls - 1029 with Rockliff scoring 91 Done and dusted, thanks for the challenge this week mate. Gray's fantastic season continues with a BAF effort. Big Sauce scores another big tap point.

Its all over here in Coolgardie, with the home side running out comfortable 174 point winners against the visiting Vikings. [IMG]

The visitors were lead by the rejuvenated Tom Mitchell on 128 points, with midfield pair Jack Ziebell and Mitch Robinson being the only other players to ton up. The Nuytsland boys were however hampered by being a player down, although having most of the rookie brigade struggle against the experienced Prospectors side didn't help either. The home fans had a lot to cheer for, with big Mummy maintaining his form, and finally taking out another point in the giant tap, with a BOG 138 points. Similarly to the Vikings side, there were few other tons, only three more for the locals, with the most disappointing being Tory Dickson, who was only awarded 107 points by the judges for his 7-goal haul. They must have been watching a different game. In the votes this week were: 3 - Shane Mumford, Coolgardie, 138 points. 2 - Tom Mitchell, Nuytsland, 128 points. 1 - Josh P. Kennedy, Coolgardie, 122 points. Next week sees the Prospectors at home again, this time up against the boys from Korumburra. The Vikings will be back at home, taking on the boys from Blanchetown.

The Smugglers have come home with a wet sail to knock off the visiting Whalers 1365-1145. Trailing at half time by 41, the final 7 Smugglers racked up 760 points, to Eden's 499, maintaining CIFC's unbeaten record at home this year. Christmas Island's star recruit of the summer, Brett Deledio, finally lived up to the hype, notching an impressive 133, which was good enough for one BAFFU vote. Two other Smugglers took out the other votes, with S.Grigg (143) narrowly beating M. Johnson (136). N. Jones was best for Eden, being the only Whaler to break the 100 barrier, although he was well supported by youngster Miles and the veterans Boomer and Pav. Both teams have important games next round, with Eden hosting another of the FU's most improved teams in season 2015, Gisborne. While Christmas Island will get an idea of their premiership credentials when they host the league leaders, King Island.

Defeats are piling up for Ararat with the Armadillos left to ponder what if's. The Grenades exploded for 1232 while a late pull out (never a good thing) by Shane Edwards saw the home side scrape to 1130. Coaching staff are ruing not naming Hallahan and Templeton as emergencies even though the Suns and Saints had them listed as emergencies. A harsh lesson learnt by the reigning premiers, but take nothing away from the visiting Gisborne team who were simply better on the day (weekend?!?!)

Prairie Dogs... Massive score! Would have knocked any other team off this week except KIM, unlucky mate. KIM - OMG, not only are you killing it, you now have Priddis busting out 196's to just stamp your dominance! Well done Sir.

Monarchs 1567 def Prairie Dogs 1424 It was a high quality match at King Island between 2 experienced finalists from last year. Big scores right across the field but none bigger than reigning Barry Brooks medalist Matt Priddis with a huge 196, taking the Monarchs to a new ORFFU record. He was well supported by the rejuvenated Betts, and new recruits Thompson and Thurlow. For the Pdogs, Yeo was everywhere and Mitchell and Shiels were both very good. Unfortunately for the visitors, young Langford wasn't subbed into the game until it was too late to have any impact. Votes: Priddis 3, Yeo 2, Betts 1

Final Score Groote Eylandt (Barracudas) 1,375 def Cow Bay (Crocs) 1,045

A pivotal game for both clubs, for the Cuda's to stay in the top 8 and for the Crocs to get some momentum.

A late out for the home side with Patty Cripps warming too hard so Rhys Stanley the emergency pulls on the Guernsey and had a solid outing picking up 12 touches. Guthrie stepped up this week collecting 16 disposals and booting a goal in the second quarter.

It was a good day for the forwards with Bontempelli collecting the pill 18 times and cracking a beauty from 45 meters out. Zorko had to work for the ball this week; he collected 17 possessions but looked out of breath all day. Cripps of the Jamie variety picked up 11 possessions and bagged 1 goal. Young Lloyd started well and looked in fine form but a soft tissue injury took him out of the game with the red vest late in the second quarter.

The defensive line was much improved from last week, however first game back from injury for Frawley had him struggling with game fitness and could only manage 6 possessions. Sutcliffe was steady with his 20 touches, however his effectiveness needs work. Burgoyne was very solid running off half back collecting 23 touches, moving the pill quickly through the guts. Bouncing back from his worst performance in a long, long time Murphy turned up the heat and made amends with 29 disposals leading at each contest.

Nicholls is back, putting in another solid game, he had plenty of hit-outs against his younger opponent in the free flowing ruck contest.

After a long hard look in the mirror the boys in the middle came out revved up and ready to put the body on the line for the clan. Gibbs got things going with plenty of run in picking up his 23 possessions, Cunnington became a ball magnet sticking 26 touches, and he even found the sticks to put one through late in the game. Hannebery smashed it up with 35 possessions and moving like the flash through the centre. However it was the Captain's game with Cotching bagging 2 magnificent goals and racking up 32 disposals to rock the house and bring home the bacon for the Cuda's.

The Crocs were snapping to get the game on, however they left Hrovat at the bus terminal and Beams when you're not having a Beams was a late out after having pizza on the way up to the paddock. So, not a great start for the young Crocs.

Defensively new comer McKenzie wasn't allowed to get into the game and only managed 9 touches, Talia had a solid game with 19 disposals but needs to work on his efficiency of the sherrin. Garland picked up 19 possessions and did some great work around the packs while Everitt was on fire collecting his 19 disposals switching it up forward and kicking a goal.

With a Croc down in the middle Rich stepped up putting his best performance on for the year collecting the pill 23 times and sneaking through a snap from the left forward pocket. Young Scully cracked 2 goals from set shots and found the ball 20 times. Paparone was solid enough but missed his mate Clayton.
Young Ceglar put his best foot forward in a very good effort up against an inform opponent collecting 10 touches and getting the leather through the middle in an awkward punt. However, Merrett couldn't get his hands on the ball enough; although with his 12 disposals managed a goal. Unfortunately young Honeychurch wasn't so lucky and was subbed out earlier in the first quarter with only 3 possessions.

Little Tom Boyd felt the pressure not having Hrovat on the paddock however to his credit did take a couple of great marks and slotted 2 through. Gunston had plenty on ball with his 18 toucesh and goal as he tried to shake things up. Cameron looked at home up here in the north as he settled into 5 goals for the day and made them look easy.

However it was all Cuda's by the end of the day as the sun went down on the Crocs. It's always a long ride home when you haven't come away with the points.

Yep, it was an outstanding effort by the P Dogs on the road with some outstanding efforts but the Monarchs are white hot at the moment and deserve their unbeaten position at the top of the table.

At 1/9th time in Coolgardie, its the Blowflys with a big lead, after the Prospectors were slow out of the blocks again. Scores are: 0 / 0 / 0 to 396 / 5 / 79.2 Lets hope the hometown boys can fight back from this early deficit.
