Scores are:- Hughenden 889/11/80.8 Vikings 418/5/83.6 Great game down at dinosaur park with Vikings finally getting up Hughenden 1232/15/82 lost Vikings 1344/15/89 Look forward to the write up. Match report from Dinosaur Park confirms a loss by the Prairie Dogsto the visiting Vikings. The home side never really recovered from the Green Vest debacle and the Vikings took full advantage with outstanding performances from Roberton, Viney, Grundy and Picken which saw the Vikingssecure their Second win of the season. It was obvious from the start the Prairie Dogs were not mentally ready for the match withsub par performances from the Green vest brigade.Thisleft the door open for the Vikings who hadmore players wanting to prove to the coach that they want to be part of the club in 2016. The one shining light for the Prairie Dogs was the performanceof rookie Kyle Langfordwho looks like a future star with a score of 105 in only his 4th game. The loss has left the Prairie Dogs in a precarious position needing to win all of their remaining games and other results to fall their way to have any chance of snatching a top 8 finish. The win to the Vikings waswell deserved with final scores:- Hughenden 1,232 lost to the Vikings 1,344. Best Player Awards 1. 144 Roberton 2. 136Hawkins 3. 133 Viney
[span style='color: #444444; background-color: #ffffff;]My apologies as I've been 1 of the culprits lately with the lack of match reports. I think the odd draw with blocks of home games in a row has made it seem a bit tedious - its not so bad when its every second week. King Island 1342 def Pearcedale 1283 It was a well fought out match between 2 top 8 sides. Harley Bennell returned for the panthers in scintillating form with a game high 140 and the Pearcedale backline was solid as usual. A fairly even performance across the board from the monarchs was enough to get them over the line with an early injury to panther Rhys Palmer probably the difference in the end. Votes: Bennell 3, Priddis 2, Shaw 1

First week this has been late, but better late than never! I do agree with Tylo, the chunks of home games have made it slightly more tedious which we didn't foresee in the preseason. Down in Gisborne, it was a low scoring slug of a game. In the end, a 1189 for the Parasites comfortably accounted for the Grenades meagre 1016. This propels Pakenham further into the 4, while Gisborne sit one game outside the 8 on an even 7-7. Stand out performers for Gisborne were few and far between, with only Douglas topping the ton for the Grenades. His 122 was a shining light. Lachie Neale has slowed down after an outstanding start to the year - not having him in any comp except this, it is difficult to notice, but if you think about him in any fantasy game, consider this. To make that next step from good player to out and out gun, he needs to stop being such a flat-track bully. Neale never scores well against quality opposition, and never goes big in close games. His average is only above 100 due to his huge scores against lesser teams. He will never be considered a great player in the league if he continues to be a flat-track bully. This is my message to him - stand up in the games that matter, not just the games that are easy. For Pakenham, the old star NRoo topped the tables with 135. A 117 to his former teammate Goddard and also to Steele, though the Steele of the Sidebottom variety. A 115 for Barlow did not reflect the poor season he is having. An incredible 134 to interchange player Callum Sinclair showed that this guy isn't just necessarily a tall, gangly player picked only for his height. This has been reflected in the POOYA voting for the week, with Sinclair currently sitting on 50% of the votes. Overall, a disappointing couple of weeks has continued for the Grenades, while Pakenham continue doing what they need to do to make finals. The finals race shows no signs of loosening up, and in the end, the difference between 6th and 10th could be only points for.
Maric has solely seen the Grenades off to a good start for the first time in weeks - maybe its because Casboult has been dropped! The Bulls are slowly revving their engine but getting few results. Gisborne 117/1/117 vs Staghorn Flat 185/3/61.66
Smugglers off to a flyer Deledio 134 Martin 97 Grigg 84 315 Vikings had Birchall 87 holding up the defense, but with Howlett a late out Biggs will need an outstanding game as he will be playing oop for us to be any chance of stealing this game
Progress scores from The Stadium, Banchang sees the visiting Barracudas (3/305/101.7) leading the local Barcrawlers (2/199/99.5). With the past 2 days being alcohol free Buddhist Lent holidays, I expect the Barcrawlers to come out firing for the remainder of the match, following on from the good work laid by the tee-totalling duo, Luke Hodge with 113 and mid-season draftee Kane Lambert 86. The visitors big guns all fired with Interchange player Lewis leading the way with 121. Note: There maybe a communication problem due to the 4 day holiday here and forthcoming reports from the Stadium maybe affected.

Haha. You'd think I'd know my players by now! Gisborne are 405/6/67.5 and that good start actually wasn't so flash. Staghorn Flat are already far ahead at 483/6/80.5 led by Rockliff's 135 Side note, Adams retiring today means that only Jaensch is left from my worst trade ever. Goodbye, Patch
Vikings 1155/12/96.25 Smugglers 1192/13/91.69 Very close game, after tippet 165 thought the game would be over.
Nugget Cup 2 update...the patched up home side are struggling for consistency (12/909/76) against a rampaging, albeit slightly undermanned Prospectors outfit (7/667/96). It's not quite over yet but a betting man would be backing Coolgardie in to retain the cup.
A close game is on hands out in Pakenham. The home team is out to a handy lead with 927 on the board after 11 the Dogs have the wind in the last and have every opportunity to build on 754 after 9 paky has been unfortunate with injuries recently and will do well to pinch a win this week

So with the Smugglers needing a win our season comes down to Heppell, Hartlett and 37 points versus Picken, Roberton and an OOP Biggs. Should be a grandstand finish! Xmas Island needs the Abbots Booby medalist and club captain to stand up today.

Pakenham have the score on the board, the Dogs will need to chase it down.... Come on the P Dogs.

Shit if i knew things like that id be jumping on board some sort of bookie site and making some serious bank!
Smugglers must be nervous two quarters to play with picken needing to out score heppel and biggs needing to score 50 more points nail biting finish
