I think I've done alright, Kerridge hasn't played yet and Hansen has been in and out of the team through injury, two years from now it'll probably be a different story, but I traded for the now, not the then.
Sorry for only the one progress report but my lap top has disintergrated and I'm doing this under suffrance as I'm on my step-sons lap top and everything is in Thai so is a little hard to navigate but I managed to get here to see that The Cudas got me by 7 points 1365-1358. And that's a wrap for the match between Pearcedale Panthers and the Blanchetown Bunyips. Final score Bunyips 1291 def Panthers 1212. Another close match and two sides who's players just refuse to go BANG!. and excellent performance from H Bennell proves to be a POD for the competition and not rattled by the controversy. Pearcedale take home all 3 BOG's whilst Jacobs just scrapes in a Big Tap point (all a bit late I know). 3 Votes - Shaw 145 2 Votes - Caddy 140 1 Vote - Bennell 139

Cow Bay Crocs 645 lost to Serengeti Buffalos 867 @ The Swamp The battle for the wooden spoon turned into an error riddled and fumbly match. Some players were not selected to give the youngsters a run, but they themselves were not named. In the end it was 10 players against 12 and a 222 point victory to the Buffalos as they moved from bottom spot. Both teams were a player short on the interchange and defence. Talia and Everitt battled hard but McKenzie's poor effort meant that Serengeti's defensive efforts were 36 points better. Serengeti would be pleased with the return from Colquhoun after selected him in last year's MSD after he has suffered an ACL injury. The midfields were evenly matched. Gleeson was the best performing mid with 76 points and young Dangerfield let the visiting coach down with a paltry 73. Billy Longer took out the Big Tap with a solid 13 points. Yes 13 points won this match's Big Tap. It didn't help that no Croc ruckmen were available. The forward and interchange lines is where Serengeti took the points. The ONLY player who scored 3 figures in Matera (106) single handedly gave the visitors a 94 point advantage in front of goals. Gunston and Martin battled hard for the home side but couldn't compete against the 1 man disadvantage they faced. This match was an odd one. One player scored 100+ and all BAFFU vote getters were forwards which just goes to show how disappointing the mids were over the weekend. It's the only match where Crocs players will make up the majority of BAFFU votes this year. Cow Bay now looks forward to having pick 1 in next year's draft....unless a decent offer gets made to take it off the recruiting team's hands. BAFFU Votes 3 B Matera, 106 points (Serengeti) 2 J Gunston, 89 points (Cow Bay) 1 J Martin, 87 points (Cow Bay)
Groote Eyelandt Barracudas 1365 def Banchang Barcrawlers 1358 In a very close match at The Stadium, with the visitors leading 1102-987 at oranges, after big games from Hanneberry 134 in their midfield, Guthrie 127 and Lewis 121, coming off the bench, it came down to the final quarter. The Banchang boys, having endured two alcohol free days preceding this game due to the Thai Buddhist Lent Ceremonies, going completely against what they're used to, were up for the challenge. They had been shown the way by the performance of their Captain, Joel Selwood 171 and the ever reliable Luke Hodge 113, with Taylor Adams, in his 1st game back after suspension, scoring 110. In a thrilling last quarter, Banchang scored 371 to the Visitors 263 but it wasn't quite enough once the Bont scored 121. Banchang needed Walters to outscore Sutcliffe by 66 to get the win but came up 7 short with his best score of the season, 123, not quite good enough and Groote Eyelandt ran out worthy winners. BAFFU VOTES 3. J.Selwood 171 (Banchang) 2. D.Hanneberry 134 (Groote Eyelandt) 1. C.Guthrie 127 ( ' ' )

Final Score at the Eden Sporting Complex and it's Eden Whalers 1201, Ararat Armadillos 1350 Great effort from both teams here with Ararat winning by a good margin with 8 players topping the 100, Miles returned to form well though leading the Whalers with 118 and Murphy not far behind scored 117 but not enough to win. The Armadillos now go to 2nd and considering they won from 8th last year, signs are good for them this year as well. We go to 12th but will push for finals still with 2 games to go. To quote a well-respected member of the ORFFU community, 'The Bulls put the final nail in Gisborne's coffin.' The penultimate round of the 2015 season contineud the disappointing streak Gisborne has had post-byes. With only one win in the last 5 matches, after a middling draw to end the season, the coaching staff are well annoyed. The low scores keep piling in, with only the midfield and ruck lines for Gisborne managing a score over 75 for a signle player. 10 scores of below 75 is far below par, especially considering the average for an SC game should be around 75 per player. A key part to that is that only 1 of those 10 players scored above their average, meaning the others all underperformed horrendously. The few positives were the quadruple ton midfield line, one of the first positions to register 4 100s in the history of the ORFFU. Maric continued his stand-out year, and McVeigh led from the front. For the Bulls, their 4th win in a row takes them to 6th on the ladder. 9 wins from the season with a match to play is more than respectable, and they have almost guaranteed themselves a finals position. A win against Pakenham next week could mean top 4 and the chance to pick who their opponent will be. The area that the Bulls won the game in was the lack of low scores. Only 5 scores under the 75 point mark, although unfortunately two of those scores were from seasoned competitors Roughhead and Matt Boyd. Coniglio and Jetta stood up as the young players making a mark on Staghorn Flat, both surpassing the ton, while unsurprisingly it was Stanton and Rockliff that top scored for the Bulls. Shaun Dempster provided a match-winning 112 off of half back and kept Jack Riewoldt to just 52 points. The Bulls ended up being the more consistent team over the weekend, showing that your fringe players need to score well to win you matches. <strong style='color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff;]Round 18 - Korumburra Blowflys defeated King Island Monarchs by 70 points (1332 v 1262)[/b] What a difference a week makes in football!! With our backs to the wall, an upset win against the top of the table King Island was the only option for the Blowflys this week if we wanted to keep our finals dream alive. We did not dissappoint the Korumburra faithful, smashing out a memorable victory and handing the Monarchs only their second loss of the season! The Korumburra community is still nursing some serious hangovers (those that have stopped partying) after the celebrations that kicked off after the snapping of the recent losing streak in most awesome fashion! The winner of the Giant Tap battle was always going to play a big part in the result this week and the Gold Standard (164) did what he does best, delivering a resounding defeat to his main challenger for the title, NicNat (73). The Todd's brilliant tap work was often sharked by gun Monarch midfielders - Priddis (125) Boak (111) NDS (101) but when they went forward they were soundly defeated by the rock solid Blowfly defense. Lynden Dunn (94) shut down the main KI weapon in JJK (58) while Johannisen (111) continued his good form, mopping up and providing plenty of rebounding run all day. The early injury to young blood Kayne Turner (12) hurt our pressure levels up forward but the return of Paul Puopolo helped there, while Motlop (119) was everywhere. The sturdy KI defense was resilient with Broadbent (118), Rance (109) and Houli (96) all playing well but at the end of the day the Blowflys just wanted it more. If we can keep up this level of effort for the next 2 weeks we will roll into the finals with a full head of steam and hopefully wreak some havoc! 1 win down, 2 to go! Let's do this Blowflys!!
