When you read the rules it doesn't look good for the Buffalos, will await the Board's decision, but whatever the decision it will mean the same rule for ALL teams this season, no case by case basis. Fair play for all.
Late change for the Blowflys - D - S. Wright out T. Curren in To use J. Johannisen's (E) score If that's all kosher of course

Mick, the opening post in this thread said '[span style='color: #000000; background: #ffffff;]post your weekly team in this thread prior to first bounce'. Rules are the same as they were last year - full lockout after first bounce of Friday night game. If there's an earlier game then there's a partial lockout for the earlier game and then full lockout comes into effect after the next game. Everyone knew about it, and I'm guessing you did too, otherwise you wouldn't have said 'If that's all kosher ofcourse' after posting proposed changes. Sorry mate, rules are rules. For the same reason its a near-certainty that the Buffaloes will be getting zeros this week for not posting a team.

Earlier post made on the phone on my way to an Easter egg hunt with my family this morning - so couldn't trawl through the forum threads looking for confirmation as I'm sure some would have. Cheers for clarifying anyway
As per rules for posting a team, and confirmed by unanimous board decision, the Serengeti Buffaloes team will score zero points for their round 1 match against the Pakenham Parasites. The entry of the team after the first bounce of the Saturday game between Melbourne and Gold Coast, breached rule 1(I), the requirement for all teams to be entered prior to the first bounce of the first game, while also considering the clause 2(F) for Thursday matches. Being that this is the first round of the year, this is the first strike against Serengeti, and rule 1(H) encounters the problem that there was no team for the previous week. For this reason the team score will be zero. The rules are there not to suck the fun out of the ORFFU, but to ensure that we all play the same game under the same conditions. The rules are there for access by all coaches, and we all agreed that they were fair and reasonable for us to ensure equity and order within the league. Its a shame that an incident like this has occurred in round 1. Lets hope that we can all enjoy the remainder of the 2015 ORFFU season without further incident.
