1. LBJ
LBJ
TU: Gaz - Sloane / Sheed - Rich
TD: Gaz - Shiel / Miller - Rich

Rich is going to make way more money than Sheed and Miller and will pump out higher scores in the process. I would prefer to get rid of Miller because Sheed has better JS and plays in the guts, but it means taking Shiel instead of Sloan to afford it.
2. Tylo
Tylo
Imo Sheed will only get better but not sold on Shiel being a top mid.

How about Miller > NVB?

Or if you really want Rich, maybe Gaz > fwd/back premium and swing someone else into the mids for the time being?

tmq14 multi mpp moves as best as I remember it is not possible UNLESS you are making a trade - ie you CAN trade out a MID, move saad from DEF to MID, move higgins from FWD to DEF, and bring in a FWD player

otherwise you are correct that you can swap a d/m with another d/m, a f/d with another f/d, a d/m with another d/m etc

What to do with Goodes when you have no $ in the bank and you already have Oxley, Saad and MacIntosh?

1) Keep Goodes he will go up a bit, save the trade - COMMENT WHY?
2) Goodes > N. Brown (bank $100k) - TU
3) Goodes > J. Ramsay (bank $20k) - TD

Novice question here, when cant you reverse your trades??

Waldo666
Yes you can as GC game doesn't start until after the Doggies

Once the lock out starts for the first game of the round, all trades made to that point become locked. From that point over the weekend, any trades you make over the weekend become automatically locked as soon as you make them. It is only during the week that trades have the ability to be reversed.

Been tearing my hair out about Van Berlo all week, Bontompelli is coming in as the first trade, but do I bring an elite mid or Van Berlo for Gazza.

I thought I'd share my thought process to potentially help others, and for comment

I've done well selecting the right rookies initially, so all things going as they are cash generation *should* be ok.

I've done some calcs on NVB's avg and price from here till his bye:

80 - $386k (+$171k)
85 - $408k (+193k)
90 - $430k (+215k)
95 - $452k (+$237k)
100 - $481 (+$266k)

If he keeps his current avg of around 90, he will make $215k.
Points wise, If I bring him in it will bench the likes of Heeney or Vandenberg who are averaging 87 & 80, so very little points increase.

So, for two trades I will be making $215k, and at best 10ppg. Im really leaning towards giving NVB a miss.

Id love to hear peoples thoughts on this,

Who else are you going to trade for Bonts?
15. Bucko
Bucko
Lamb or Bellchambers

I see Bellchambers as a mistake, and Lamb has gone AWOL

In your question you said you have the option of an elite mid player instead of NVB. You also said if you went NVB you would be fielding him, so i guess although your cash generation might be correct, how many points will you be losing each week by not going to the elite mid - 20-30ppg?

Obviously you would use the leftover cash to upgrade somewhere else but NVB has posted those scores in significant wins and I'm not sold the Crows rejuvenation is going to be of the same calibre as Port a couple of seasons ago..
18. Bucko
Bucko
Sloane or JPK are the top two choices, so lets say 30 - 35 ppg.

The extra trade needed to cash in NVB is extremely valuable also
19. stripey
stripey
Personally i would bring in another elite mid. your other rookies will generate cash for you. save the trade...

Thats what I've settled on for now, and I've bought in Sloane.

Now, just sit and wait for Bontompelli to be out once the Sunday teams drop and all this goes out the window !
