Once the working week rolls around pick times will become longer

If the draft closes between 12 & 8 then Mick has until 12:38 AEDST to take his pick; about another 2hrs. I'd think this is fair as we've done this in the past; let's wait until then to see if there are any other developments.

    Hi all,
I've come to the realisation that being the big cheese is not for me, therefore effective immediately I resign as Commissioner & Board member.

I can then concentrate on the Barracuda's up and coming season, cheers

    YAD

That's sad to hear YAD. I raised the idea of a board a while back because it didn't seem right the weight of making important decisions fell on the shoulders of 1 person. I think the role should be to gauge the general feeling of the other board members and the group as a whole. I'm sorry if you felt like things were coming to rest solely on you. You've done a power of work since taking on the job and I'm certain everyone appreciates the amount of time you've put into it.

Can I suggest we pause for a bit and take a deep breath before rushing into any decisions from here. YAD, I would urge you to re-consider at least staying on as a board member. As I said the work you've done has been great and it would be a shame for the competition to lose that. Perhaps we need to find a way to share the load a bit more.

It's got nothing to do with workload, it's just not for me right now.

I'm here fellas. Tried to get on and do it yesterday but had some laptop and net issues. Just doing some last minute research now before I make my selection.

I definitely delisted Zac O'Brien. Held Stokes and Stevie J to see how that played out luckily. I remember delisting Kane Cornes at some point last season too - could've been before the MSD though or do I have 2 picks? I thought I might've delisted Tom Curren too? Guessing it's too late to do that now?

Even though I needed a defender I couldn't pass up on Schache. From all reports future gun and I'm hoping for DPP sometime in his career. Maybe not a first team player this year but looking forward to see how he develops.

I would have taken him at 14 had he made it. Would like to have taken Hunter but desperately needed some fwd cover in the short term with Rough going down. High risk reward with Hall his best n worst are so far apart!

If my info's right there's still a fwd available that I reckon will go close to premo this year. Can't believe he didn't go round 1

Name names Bryzza! I'm quite interested because most of the picks have made sense to me. Love to hear a differing opinion!

i dont think youre a fool mate! maybe you just have/had different targets to other people? downie and obrien not on my radar either! williams a great pick, fantaszia (sp?) should get lots of time and score this year at least, and ive wanted my man jakey barrett since pre season draft last year. beautiful thing about fantasy footy - we'll see how it all pans out over the next 7 months!

Downie was the best ruckmen I could find in the draft, with Mumford being 29 I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting more game time. He showed a bit at the end of last year too

Just wanted to echo Tylo's words about the cracking job YAD has done - especially organising this draft, you obviously put in a tonne of work mate!

I had previously put up Tyze as Commish and if he's happy to accept that nomination I think he's the man.

Failing that I'm happy to toss my hat in the ring - either as Commish or on the Board.

I reckon Hunter is a steal at 16; I still can't believe he fell that far! 3 years worth of development and showed last season that he can score over 120. There's a few guys in front of him for the tag so wouldn't be surprised to see him average 100 this year. My mid depth is so strong now I doubt I'll have to draft any mids for at least the next 3 seasons!
