Interesting offer for sure, but in 12 months time I'm sure I'd regret taking it.. It's possible I'm being too demanding but Yeo is clearly a long term player inside anyone's best 22.
No probs, I take that as a reserve not met. Yeah definitely a risk/reward venture. Many see Big Boy as the R1 lock but I really don't think the crown fits all that snug. Cegs did more than his fair share of the ruck work when teamed with Hale or McEvoy last year and I see that continuing with Hale gone. The Roughy injury will be interesting for the Hawks structure. I reckon they will need McEvoy to kick his 1-2 goals per game to be able to hold their own.
I agree my concern is that if he keeps ruck only status next year I am locked into playing him there and Ryder as a fwd, assuming he retains fwd status, the assumptions make me wary.. McEvoy is a more genuine RF for mine
Bidding Scott Selwood for Roberton. Scooter has the history of a 100+ scorer (when not injured). Surgery in off-season. On track for round 1.
I looked and genuinely thought Yeo was a mid (or at least a M/D) this year - and was going to bid. Alas, only a defender which is a bit baffling and probably precludes me from bidding at the moment. Wish I could join the party Len but I can't help.
Venus Bay Vultures stick Liam Picken up for auction, breaking into a new role last year Picken averaged 99. Looking for defenders preferably but will also consider forwards. Auction ends Monday the 8th at 11PM
Venus Bay also put up a package of picks #12 and #18 in the upcoming PSD draft. I find these picks hard to value numerically with an average, so can't give an exact reserve but will just consider what comes, but like with Picken, am after preferably a defender, or a forward, however pending on quality other positions will be considered. A pair of picks in return may be considered however I find that unlikely... Auction ends Monday the 8th at 11PM
Fit I'd take him in a heartbeat mate, but right now still not in training early Feb just doesn't feel sound enough for me.. Cheers
Hey mate, don't mind him but he's getting a bit old and probably just not good enough for both picks, so not quite, thanks though
Thanks mate but doesn't quite do enough for me...I'd want to be confident in Selwood getting back up to the 95+ mark and with the surgery and moving clubs, I'm not certain on how he'll go this year.
I'll bid PSD Pick #20, GC defender Steven May (still only 24, 18 games in 2015 at an average of 74.2) and Darraweit's first round pick in the MSD.
Solid offer Chris, considered it for a bit but in the end it came down to not having an interest in the MSD pick, although May isn't a bad option, don't think he would be taken at #12 if available in PSD, and as I don't have interest in the MSD pick it doesn't make up for that gap. Close though
