Bulldogs and Melbourne are shafted by not getting a Women's league team
Hardwick first coach to be replaced in 2016

Townsend has been OK thus far Len, but there's a couple of other kids that have turned a few heads - in particular Connor Menadue. Would think he is close to sewing up a spot in the Tigers team for Round 1.

Menadue and Ellis for mine, but I still rate Townsend at least equal for SC.
Against the Hawks Townend's 108 scaled to 148 with TOG, Menadue went from 77 to 131 and Ellis who didnt have much impact this week but was best of the three last week went from 34 to 54.
I also think Townsend has a little more preseason work in him and therefore the TOG movement for him is more "real".

The good thing from a Richmond perspective is that we have some very exciting, talented young kids who we've barely seen at senior level.

Corey Ellis, Menadue, Townsend, Drummond, Lennon, Rioli, Broad ... plus a few others. Broad, Lambert and Marcon are a touch older but haven't played a lot or any games for us. Markov and Chol are project players - McBean and McKenzie as well.

And Yarran and Lids are yet to play in preseason. The fact there is actual, genuine competition for spots in the side is a healthy thing.

Tbh I don't know if I'd call it a success or a failure if we (Tigers) come top 4 and go out straight sets in the finals. Means we've done really well and reached 2nd week of finals, but still don't have that win in September

Remember when Carlton won the preseason cup and the wooden spoon in the same year?

A win in the Mickey mouse comp against the second worst teams seconds won't make a diff when the 10goal average losses start up!

Its planned for end of season. Funny to think they might run out of patience sooner. I wouldnt put it past them, but i doubt they will.

Well, the request was for some ballsy predictions

      Ladder:
      1. Fremantle,
      2. West Coast,
      3. Bulldogs,
      4. Hawthorn,
      5. Sydney,
      6. North Melb,
      7. Gold Coast, (assuming Ablett plays the whole year)
      8. Port Adelaide,
      9. Richmond,
      10. GWS, (assuming Mumford has an injury 2/3rds through the season).
      11. Collingwood,
      12. Geelong,
      13. St Kilda,
      14. Melbourne,
      15. Adelaide, (difficult draw)
      16. Brisbane,
      17. Carlton,
      18. Essendon.

      Premiers: West Coast
      Runner Up: Fremantle
Brownlow: Fyfe, Ablett & Priddis in a 3 way tie!
      Coleman: Kennedy
Rising Star: Darcy Parish (Opportunity galore).
      Richmond Final Wins: 0
      1st Coach gone: Hardwick

Something Extra - Most want to see in 2016: WA Derby Grand Final.
As a West Coast supporter, if I had a choice at seeing a Derby Grand Final in which Freo won or a WCE flag against anybody else -
I would (through gritted teeth) take the Derby Grand Final.
(Putting on the flame suit now).

Wash your mouth out right now (or clean your keyboard as the case may be!)
I would much rather sit through another flogging from Hawthorn (cue Hawks supporters saying: "that can be arranged, see you on October 1") than see a Freo premiership!
