Well done on the pre-season odds and commentary CR – your assessment of most teams has been very accurate with one obvious exception.

I wouldn’t say that other teams are trying to fly under the radar, I would say they are being honest with their assessment of Foul Bay. The Hawks I mean the Chickens are a proven ORFFA superpower averaging a premiership every two years and show no signs of slowing down. The team ranked second for points for in 2016 is Mt Beauty – averaging 1,300 points per round. If 1,300 points represented a lap of the treacherous ORFFA circuit than the dominant team – Foul Bay averaging 1,426 points has already lapped the field. Thankfully it is not an English Premier League Style comp so the Chickens aren’t past the finishing post and we have seen some massive upsets in the ORFFA finals before, providing the chasing pack some hope that they can have an upset victory over the all-conquering Foul Bay Chickens.

Unfortunately, most of the money laid went on the Chooks at $5.00 so ChiefBet is sitting pretty.

We were only let down by the fact that the Vultures and the Uglies played each other in the prelim.

I was so caught up in the priceless commentary/wisdom (hence the recruitment of Wells) that I ignored the odds!
    Cest la vie
