No worries @DamoH , real life, family, work all come first mate.

Just so glad we didn't have to take one of those Indonesian fishing boats to get back home, like the first time we were on Christmas Is.;)

Progress score from The Stadium, Banchang, sees the visiting Armadillos leading the Barcrawlers 1/98 to 1/78.

The home team are still a big chance to inflict a 3rd defeat on the leaders, especially if some of the locally preferred food finds it's mark later tonight.......

    More to come......

6 of 9 down and it's the home town Sandgropers (9/753/84) leading @fresh 's Crocs (11/655/60). Some big scores from Crouch & Rioli have covered some poor performances but with DeGoey out, Himmelberg OOP and no 100+ scores from the Crocs the Sandgropers are confident they can last the distance and finish the season with a win.

The visiting Armadillos have come to play and are absolutely smashing the home team at oranges 12/1037 (86.42) to a very disappointing 10/686 (68.6).
The only players of any note for the Barcrawlers are MSD pick 7 Jarryd Lyons with 122 and Ellis-Yolmen with 86 in his 1st game for the season.
The Armadillos have 4 players who've tonned up, led my the bearded Auskick Legend, Maxy Gawn with 168, and are superior over every part of the ground.

I'm afraid this game is over and await the other results to see if the Barcrawlers make their first finals.

    The Barracuda's are 785/8 98.1 and the Blowflys are 734/8 91.8.

A very tight contest with a couple of big scores from Hanna, Bont Sloan & Goldy on each side of the ledger.

3 Quarter Time at Eden Sporting Complex and the Whalers are leading 11/991 (av 90.09) to Hughenden 7/505 (av 72.14). Clayton Oliver has played well for the Prarie Dogs with 98 and Tom Lynch has starred for the Whalers with 4 goals and 138 points while Jones has shown his form once again with 126 points.

3/4 time at King Island sees the Prospectors holding the lead 13/925/71.2 to the Monarchs 9/812/90.2 but with plenty to come for the home side it looks like the dream of finals will be over for the Prospectors. For the visitors, Mummy has been strong in the ruck and MacMillan has done well as the only true defender in the team. Tex has led the way for the Monarchs so far with Rance and Houli combining well down back.

Yep, almost prepared to concede this one after Menzel's injury.

My results have it at 1175 to 1146, but my maths probably needs checking cause Gisborne can't have won. Surely not

@fresh The Sandgropers 15/1213/81 have finished strongly to record a 286 point win over the Crocs 15/927/62. Our score of 1213 is even more remarkable seeing we had three scores below 32 and a 51. Match report to follow.

Believe it, @Tomster! A well deserved win to the Grenades.

Smugglers limp into the off-season to focus on 2017.

In the match that decided if there would be a change to the 8 the Bulls have defeated the Parasites in a lacklustre affair 1120 - 1009.

So by my maths I think Eden has clinched a finals berth at the expense of the Parasites.

For the Bulls the one point loss to Southern Cross two weeks back has cost them a finals spot.

Congrats to all finalists in 2016

Full Time at Eden Sporting Complex and the Whalers have won and secured 8th :D
Lynch and Jones starred for a team that saw what needed to be done and did it. Tom Scully scored 105 and probably secured the PSD Lucky Find (Hunter only got 93 so Lucky Find confirmed). Hawkins did well with 103 and Sandi made a good return but it just wasn't enough. Maynard still isn't quite ready for the seniors but a bit more time... (edit: I didn't notice Kerridge there)
