Gosh, where does the week go? Thursday already!

Looks like we have some nice 1st gamers coming in, but it's at the expense of a few premiums and a couple of rookie backman.

Hopefully you manage to dodge the worst of it though!!

Fyfe out and Ruggles not playing is the main result for me this round of teams selections.
Ryan Davis back probably means I not trade him this round.
Will be forced to trade Fyfe on Saturday to some gun midfielder and use Ruggles for a loophole in backline for this round.
If I do a second trade for round it is looking more likely to be Mitch Brown sacrificed but I can wait until about half way through round to see what is the optimal move at that time. Brown to Docherty or Mason Cox on the Sunday are some alternatives to simply letting the round finish with just the Fyfe trade done.

I am hoping for a good round to make up ground on early round leaders and touch wood, steer clear of injuries.
Be nice to get something like 2400 or more this round with a bit of luck going my way.

I also have the Fyfe conundrum with who do i go to... Also looking at Sheridan who is going to leak some cash. Can grab any mid the likes of Parker, Sidey, Ward, etc. Looking at moving Rich back to the backline to cover Sheridan trade then move wells to mids to cover moving Rich back then look for fwd to trade in which fwd would be best?
Fwds are Daulhaus, Kennedy, Menadue, Hall, Wells and Kerridge (Brown and Grimley)

      Option 1 - Buddy
      Option 2 - Zorko
      Option 3 - Maybe Z.Merret?
      Option 4 - Other options???
      • Option 2 Option 2 x 9
      • Option 1 Option 1 x 3
      • Option 3 Option 3 x 1

Do we think Dea will hold his spot ? same question for Hewett ?

If Polkinghorne gets named is he likely to stay fit and play enough games to be a round 8 downgrade target ?

Petracca, Keays, Lovell, Willis and perhaps polkinghorne might all be on the bubble for round 8, so I am considering trading Petracca in early, either this round or next week (preferably) if Polkinghorne gets named

@IPOD - montagna isn't on the poll but would be another you should have on the shortlist to complete your forwards in a week or two if his leg injury from last week doesn't affect him this week

I would go zorko if price isn't much of a concern, otherwise I would go zerrett and cross your fingers Anazac Day isn't a sign of how he will score when the Bombers start playing the top sides.

Fyfe to Parker and Lonergan to Selwood this week for me, I'm better off fielding a rookie than Jesse freakin' Lonergan.
Having multiple rookie fwd/def and mid/fwd players has been very very useful for the early part of the season trading.

Think I need to start looking at the byes.

With Fyfe going out, I think I need to focus on bringing in a few of those Round 15 fellas in this, the upgrade season,.

I'm hoping that some of these bombers guys can last until round 14, would be great time to trade them.

Bye rounds seem to be later this year? Also seem to have slightly more out for the middle bye but still have quite a while to rectify that and its mainly due to the bomber cash cows I have.

With Lee out can ditch that potential trade and oliver not returning after being supposedly just rested last week now has put me back to square one. I hadnt considered Gresham from the saints but he has come back in and is on the bubble so could go oliver to him to make some quick cash. I know very little about this is guy havent seem him play but his first two scores werent great, is he worth getting?

Option 1 Yes worth the trade in
Option 2 No wait for better options

      Cheers!

No point getting in Gresham with much more promising rookies eg. Petracca and Keays just starting to get games

Just took a look at the most traded out players this week. For those players who are named for Round 6, average and breakeven are also included:

      1. Fyfe (inj)
      2. Dea (av=71) (BE=72)
      3. Suckling (inj)
      4. B. Kennedy (av=78) (BE=55)
      5. Gray (inj)
      6. Rance (susp)
      7. Wingard (inj)
      8. Menadue (av=54) (BE=32)
      9. Lobbe (omit)
      10. Johannisen (inj)

Seriously, what are people who waited until this week to drop Johannisen doing?

Of the three guys who have been dumped from a lot of teams this week, Kennedy and Menadue are decent chances to make their breakeven.

In the absence of any must-have rookies on the bubble this week, I just don't understand why teams would be dumping players who are still going to make some coin this week.

A popular selection with a tough ask to hit his breakeven this week is Weitering (av=84, BE=84). He's not really a keeper with an average of 84. I'm somewhat surprised that Weitering was not in the top 10 outs for this week.

Gresham is a mid playing as a small forward? So tough if the ball isn't going down there much. Strangely enough looking at the as i watched his first 2 games stats i thought his first game was better. Lower disposals he just seemed to pop up a bit more. Thought he was pretty anonymous in the bulldogs game. Against a fast paced GWS this week probably similar to the bulldogs? Either way not much excitement playing that position.

Yeah when I was looking at my rookies BE this week I was surprised that most were attainable. I was thinking Ben Ken, Dea would be going for sure. I'm keeping them this week, and it only takes one good score and back up they climb. I can only imagine that other people don't use tooserious like us? Or perhaps they use another sites BE that is not as accurate?

Apparently Crowley had 30+ touches and 4 goals in the reserves win against the Pies and I think Simpkin was also in the top 3 best players or thereabouts with a good game
