just thought it was interesting as no coach has received there propectous or it might just be a coincidence that the top picks are best point scorers? we all choose players for different reasons and playing round 1 for me is not a requirement. Champion data is a good resource of future potential .....
Mate, it's all good. I just don't understand how their top picks are best point scorers when none of them have played an AFL game yet. I guess it all comes back to "beauty is in the eye of the beholder'..................
I put talent before needs with my first pick....couldn't decide what I was doing really. I figured pick 7 is a high pick which I should use on talent. I really need defenders but I'll worry about them then. Hoping I picked the right player, I suppose it's a little bit of luck really which these young blokes. All good fun
Noticed that the draft order has been updated with the passes but pick 41 is still active for Serengeti. Probably my fault because I forgot to add Sam Reid until just before draft time but I only have 2 picks so pick 38 will see the Buffaloes done for this draft
Sorry for the delay fellas. I did have a short list of players to take at pick 21 but you pricks gobbled up the lot over the last 10 picks! Haha. You gotta love a good draft! Been flat out at work all day so I'm gonna be pushing to find some time for last minute reassesment and research. Hoping to have my pick in by around 5-5:30

Yeah, always is when rookies has to have surgery but hopefully he come in stronger like Cripps did after he broke his leg.
It's tough but it's good fun trying like you said @ddsaints You usually have to compromise one way or the other but ideally you hit that sweet spot and get both - ready to go talent in an area that you need it. I hope I've nailed it this year haha. Feeling pretty good about this draft so far...
It's nearly 12 hrs since @bryzza took English with pick 20, and in that time we've managed just the one pick........that's just dandy!
