A bit of a shock Len offering up "a star on the rise" but then every player ever offered in a trade could have that description applied.

    Really?
What response are you looking for there?

Not looking for a response Len. It was an observation that when a player is offered for another player he is always shown in the best light. I am perhaps more guilty of that than anyone. If we were to keep trading out our better players what sort of mob would we end up with?

If we put our teams together mate we'd have a team. And probably a good one.

Maybe we need a thesaurus for trade week with terms like

Ready for Breakout Year - has averaged 65, has the potential to average 90 if he pulled his finger out and every year the hype says he will... but he will average 65 again... I'm referring to you Shaun Atley
Has 2-3 good years left in him : really he is shot, but I'm hoping someone will believe my bullshit and give me a first rounder for him
Everyone on my list is available : Bullshit.... unless you want to give me 3 first round picks and a 75+ppg player for Zac Dawson
    etc

JC's response was more in line with what I meant, if I'm the kettle you're the pot ;)
Though I could go back to many draft tabling threads and find evidence that I'm more inclined to call my spuds spuds than most.

    I'd add:

I'm reluctant to trade him : Bullshit - the truth is I can't get rid of this f*cking spud quick enough

The first bid and as it turns out the only bid is successful. Billy Longer is traded from the Cradle Mountain Devils to the Marble Bar Misfits in exchange for Will Hoskin-Elliot.

It has been great doing business with you @Len it is also good to see a second Saint join the Misfits.

For Buddy the Vultures bid their PSD round 1 pick, Callum Ah Chee and Dan Talia.

Ah Chee is aged 19, played 21 games already and a previous #8 draft pick. A FWD.

Talia aged 25, take out his concussion and he averages a very serviceable 78, including a shocker in R1 where he scored 19. A DEF.

I will bid my PSD Round 1 Pick (currently a better one than Fitzy's), Aaron Francis (Pick 6 in the draft that Ah Chee was Pick 8 in, plus he is a D/F) and Karl Amon (better average than Talia this season - and a really good average if you take out his crap, low scoring games haha ;) and only 21 years of age)

@Lenny120 , I will make a bid for Buddy. Don't be seduced by where someone was drafted, look closely at what they have achieved. For quality picks look to the future when the draft is deeper and your needs are clearer.

Josh Dunkley (F/M) and our second and third round picks in the 2018 PSD.

@Len and @Lenny120 - a point of information. The Buddy auction is listed to end at 11.59pm on Saturday - I assume June 3. However, on the Calendar thread we have:
2nd June 11pm - Delists due (Trade Pause)
4th June 7pm - Draft commences (Trades resume)

Don't want to spoil the fun, but do we need a different end of auction date, or is an auction not classified as a trade?
