Nope, going on holiday, and it's not a busman's gig :)

Use it for PSD picks, or to validate your research :)

I like this idea. Ive always thought its better going earlier.

Anyway, by the time my 1st pick (#84) comes around we will probably be well into the preseason games anyway! hahaha

Alright for some I guess Ant - I always get complaints about going too early.

Think a few AFL trades went through today that we would have vetoed....

genius Fitzy, albeit some would take the "trades between consenting adults should not be queried" approach. ;)

Suns have rocks in their head... Dockers are the AFL version of @graeme

Weller for pick 2... seems legit
go forward 5 picks in this years draft, jump ahead two rounds in next years and give up your B&F winner... seems legit
give away Brandon Matera for a future 3rd round
Give away Adam Saad for a future second round

Damn next years draft better be bloody deep o_O

Ah Banditto, you say the nicest things. You really know how to smooth talk a fellow coach.

Oh wow, @Len - is that really bam bam to the blues for pick 28 in the 2017 draft? Did gws not consult with you before they acted?

Having to watch (support?) the blues next year is surely unappealing. :spew: Don't do it. Stick with the giants and be conflicted occassionaly.

Wasn't overly excited with our trade activity this year to be honest.
Smith we got a fair price for but he wouldn't have been seeking the trade if we hadn't brought Delidio in who is yet to return any value.
Wilson we let go for less than his worth because we will always do those deals for someone with legitimate reasons for needing to move
Kennedy we let go for a joke price because he was out of contract and unfortunately being pushed out of our best 22 by elite talent

I am pleased we traded in no players though.

From a FA pov though the Kennedy trade is a huge win for me :p

Lots of bloody Hoppers switching teams after this crazy trade period:

    1. Rocky to Port - Not sure how I feel about this yet. 50/50 to average the same.
    2. Stringer to Dons - Something had to be done, can only be a positive. If he pulls his head in will be back to AA level. IF.
    3. Cameron to the Lions - He will miss the Crows playmakers I think, may get more mid time though now.

I'll take that IF on Stringer and offer you my MSD 5th round pick... judging by the AFL clubs that should be enough to get it done

    Bwahaha

Meanwhile, Darraweit hopefully welcomes Harley Balic back to relevance. Took a punt on him early in the MSD (and luckily still got Bailey Dale later) so let's see how he goes.

Beyond that, not a lot of movement beyond Tippett again getting injured and my two Sydney rucks nodding subtly in response.

It's remarkably human, we all rank them the same way.
Group 1 - Displayed talent - hands off!
Group 2 - Maybe, maybe not players of worth - hit me with your best offer but I am totally glass half full on these guys
Group 3 - The pity group

No criticism, I am as compliant as anyone else lol

The variable among us seems to be the proportion of our list in each category. Oh, and the degree to which we overrate and overvalue* any player we are looking to trade or de-list.

    * Judge - "How do you plead?"
graeme - "Guilty as charged your honour, on all counts."
