As with last year we probably need someone to independently verify all 44 scores and add them up independently before the result is formally declared but two single digit results is bloody amazing, well played to both teams.
Final scores question mark? Definitely needs checking, so ridiculously close. EAST: 2193/22 Docherty 101 Cripps 94 WEST: 2195/22 Neale 134 Simpson 77
I think us Central/West coaches would only double-check the scores if it was suggested we'd lost as that would be unfathomable We can trust our players to do what they gotta do to get the W!
Someone please check scores again because my friend Excel got a completely different result! Docherty 101 Roberton 119 Williams 72 Montagna 85 Hodge 81 Shaw 73 Bontempelli 81 Dangerfield 151 Pendlebury 142 Selwood 126 Kelly 101 Cripps 94 Hannebery 137 Viney 95 Martin 107 Mumford 135 Heeney 69 Macrae 84 Dahlhaus 90 Nankervis 100 Stevens 67 Steele 87 2197 Adams 110 Laird 110 Lloyd 110 Jones 49 Simpson 77 Hurley 108 Sloane 119 Neale 134 Mitchell 158 Goddard 94 Merrett 107 Martin 144 Oliver 91 Heppell 89 Jacobs 82 Goldstein 135 Yeo 71 JJK 72 Riewoldt 77 Franklin 76 Greene 70 Cameron 105 2188
In complete ignorance, but with high regard for the spirit of Brexit, I completely endorse this result without supporting facts
I have double checked and the scores you have posted and the totals are correct as I see them. @anthak now might be the time as there is some compelling evidence to suggest that what may be unfathomable to you but inevitable to us Eastern coaches has occurred.
It appears your mate Excel is far better at basic mathematics than you are Johnny Took me a minute and a half to add both teams up in my head (twice) and realise that the corrected scores you posted are in fact right But didn't the rules stipulate that home team got a 10 point start ala TS NBA finals scoring
I apologise to all and hopefully get sacked as my job as official scorekeeper Regardless, single digit difference again we are having some ripping games. Also just for fun lets look at the emergencies: EAST vs WEST Tuohy 116 vs Hibberd 110 Murphy 123 vs Priddis 73 Grundy 92 vs McEvoy 95 Walker 89 vs Waite 31
true! quite amazing results. i hope you dont get sacked mate. i really enjoyed your updates and i hope you keep it up whenever...
9 points AGAIN !! If we follow this year's precedent then next year's match would be at Drouin @stowie thanks to Dangerfield's efforts in leading the East to victory, while Mt Thurstys' Tom Mitchell takes out the N-Roo medal for best afield this year. We might even have a chat to walesy to see whether we may be able to run the match in TS leagues in future years so that we lose the need for a full recalc post the final siren.
