Apologies gentlemen for not doing anything - been pretty much too focussed on RL since Wednesday when the Wife's nanna had a stroke and neither of us can focus much on anything else :(

    Without a doubt my highest!!!
Even had to screenshot the matchday page so we can print it off and frame it to put up in the clubhouse - Pointers have restored the "Shark Supremacy" back to where it belongs :p

Useless Loop Virgins (ULV) 1,177 def by Mt Thirsty Boozers (MTB) 1,250

After a high calibre, high scoring draw against the Woylies this match was touted as a must-see game especially when get the boozers hanging around some virgins anything could happen, unfortunately it didn’t, the voyeurs were most unimpressed.

The Virgin’s certainly had the back door covered with Simpson’s performance and Biggs got it in for his first gig in sometime after injury. The Boozers Hurley gave some stick while Frost became a shrinking violet.

With no Sandi balls Neale and Priddis didn’t shine as the gloss was taken by Mitchell, Goddard and Zaharakis and the big men of the stage just hugged each other all day for not much in return.

Bolton was a bit Shai, Phillips lost his speed and JJK pinged his calf in what could’ve been the best move of the day turned out bye seeing this big man collapse to the floor in pain. While Buddy Franklin made his move with his entourage of Wallis and Cameron which was the show ending performance as the faint sounds of the fat lady singing could be heard.

Off the interchange, it was Polec’s turn to show us what he had with the unfortunate side effect was that Mundy felt a little bit intimidated by his team mate and didn’t want to come back out after the first inter-change.

It’s never pretty playing with the Boozers @leematty1 as they took the points for day and we head into the ORFFF break for the mid-season madness.

    BOG awards
    3 Jared Polec (128) - ULV
    2 David Zaharakis (111) - MTB
    1 Brendon Goddard (110) - MTB

ORFFF Rivalry round has once again been run and done and at the top end of the table Mt Thirsty @leematty1 and Useless Loop @YAD69 swapped 2nd and 3rd places as the Boozers notched a WA derby win, while the Ducks @thokash defeated the ladder leaders by 113 in the Vic derby in Rutherglen @tyze1 to move to 4th ahead of Noahs @That KI Guy who suffered their 3rd straight loss in the Spencer Gulf Shark-Off @Bearfly (aka #1 of the 3 SA derbies) and now sit outside the top 4 in for only the 2nd time in the clubs history (the other being 8th spot after Round 1 this year).

Positions 6-10 remain unchanged as Macquarie Island @Darran, Walpole @port_leschenault Drouin @stowie and Maralinga @Brett Sanders defeated Black Swamp, Heard Island @anthak, Mole Creek @ViQBoZ and Port Lincoln @MrsBear respectively while Nangkita @Dale Duivesteyn lost their 4th straight since formalising their move from Queensland to the area East of the City of Churches with Cockburn @Len prevailing by 221 points.

With the regular season now 60% complete the competition takes a 3 week break for the Midseason trade and draft period after which the race for top 4 and top 8 positions resumes anew.

Stats wise the Fugitives win streak was snapped at 7 leaving the Boozers, Dropbears and Atoms leading the way on 3 consecutive wins heading into the midseason break. The Noahs, 29ers and Power suffered their heaviest ever losses while the Woylies equalled their highest ever score (from Round 1) and the Power scored their lowest ever tally in the competitions 5th most lopsided match in ORFFF history.

The Power's 1005 (from 14 players) was also 9th lowest all time ORFFF score while The Glow-Worms 1006 with a full 15 player complement was 10th lowest all time (and possibly in the lowest couple without a donut) as they equalled the ORFFF record for consecutive losses of 10. Completing a hat-trick of disappointing 10's, the Glow-Worms vs Drouin match was the 10th lowest ORFFF match aggregate.

    Happy trading and drafting folks.
