    REPORT FROM BANCHANG:
Qtr time at The Stadium sees the visiting Panthers from Pearcedale leading the home team 2/177 to 1/88. In actual fact, it should be 3/177 as Pearcedale's Ben Reid was stopped at Thai Immigration and refused entry, solely because his passport only had 3 months left before expiry. This is a huge oversight by the Panther's football dept. leaving them with only 14 players, and I'm sure heads will roll once they return to the mainland.
In the meantime, Pearcedale's Luke Parker did everything in his power to get his team off to a good start, and his 129 pts was just reward for his untiring effort. Nick Newman with 88, had another solid game in defence for the home team to justify his selection at pick # 47 in the PSD.

There's a long way to go in this one.....

Home team Nutsy are out of the blocks quickly, with 305/4/77.25, while Gisborne have started more sedately, 82/1/82. With Gisborne in-form and Nutsy hanging on to top spot, this has the makings of one for the ages.

So if a player gets 0 SC points do we get the Emergency score?

Correct, TOG has to be zero percent, otherwise the player clearly played

The Smugglers are down to 12, so I reckon you're home.

    Sorry to ruin the tank!

You'll have to wait for a progress score from Banchang, as the light is so poor here, my solar powered calculator won't register and neither will my alcohol addled brain, but I think Pearcedale is comfortably ahead.

After a breathtaking night, Gisborne have reclaimed the lead, but not by much. It's @bryzza's Nutsy 748/9/83.1 trailing Gisborne 788/10/78.8. The twilight match tonight is likely to be the deciding factor in this match, with 8 players involved

The Barracudas are 866/11 78.7 and the Monarchs are on 1,057/14 75.5
With some lack luster performances the Cudas will be chasing down the visitors.

    REPORT FROM BANCHANG.

At the main break, Pearcedale are trailing the home side, 13/984 (75.7) to 11/930 (84.6) by 54 pts but with 4 players left to Banchang's 2, it should be easy pickings for the visitors, in the 2nd half.
Pearcedale jumped out early to set up a good lead at the first break and then continued on in the 2nd term with some consistent displays from Hunter 100 and Ellis 96, in the midfield, while Nank the Tank returned to some good form in the ruck with 108. Smith 108 and Shaw 85, down back held Banchang's forwards to a miserly 290 pts combined.
Banchang's best was once again Mr.Consistency, Jarryd Lyons with 138. He was well supported by Sexton 89, off the Interchange and new boys Newman 88, and 2nd gamer, Greenwood 84.
Riley Knight (oop)put up a reasonable display in the Ruck against Nankervis with 72/36, while Sam Gray 90, had his best game since Rd6. Hanley 41 appears to have done his hammy again and will probably miss the next 2-3 weeks. The remainder were all well below average.

At 6/9th though out in the goldfields there's a 153 point margin: @DamoH
    Coolgardie 712 / 10 / 71.2
    Christmas Island 559 / 9 / 62.1

Drew Petrie continues to lead all-comers with 123 points.
