2/9's of the way through the game and the home town Sandgropers (338/4/84) are trailing @Mick 's visiting Blowflies (368/4/94). Darling not turning up for the game has skewed this in Korumburra's favour but the home supporters have been buoyed by the effort shown by Cunnington, McGovern & Stringer to keep them in the match. Updates to follow...

The whistle has blown to end the qtr at The Stadium and it sees the local Barcrawlers 5/401 leading the Prairie Dogs 4/328.
Yeo 141 (HPD) has been the standout so far and the only player to ton up.

2/9th through the game in Coolgardie, and the @HOLKY Whalers look like they've turned up to play!

    Coolgardie 246 / 3 / 82
    Eden 351 / 4 / 87.8

Leading the way so-far is JPK on 113, and B Brown on 98.

Still lots of play to come over this loooooooooong Easter weekend!

    Another update @fresh -

The home team struggled in that last period, not registering a score to stay at 177/2/88.5, while the visiting Crocs didn't fair much better with an early injury to T. Boyd curtailing any hope of some good ruckwork from him and leaving Cow Bay floundering at 161/3/53.66

A huge 140 point game from #gisbornegun Lachie Neale sees the Grenades move along to 453/6/75.5, while the Crocs @fresh also had a huge score from Patton with 118 to carry them to 575/8/71.8. This game could be going down to the wire!

2/3's of the way through the match and its @Mick 's Blowflies leading 945/11/86 over the local Sandgropers 784/10/78. It'd take a huge effort from here to reign it in but while there's time there's hope. Depending on how results around the grounds fall the Sandgropers will likely be botttom three with a 1-3 record; very disappointing :(

Half-time at The Stadium sees the Barcrawlers holding a slender lead over the Prairie Dogs 12/917/76.4 to 10/845/84.5

6/9th of the way through the game in Coolgardie, and its a close one, with @HOLKY Eden holding a narrow lead.

    Coolgardie: 1012 / 13 / 77.8
    Eden: 1045 / 13 / 80.4

There's been some terrible performances on both sides of the fence (C Hooker, 40 - M Leuenberger, 55), and also some big games from both camps (S Mumford, 135 - T Scully, 117)

To come for Coolgardie is mid emergency B Parfitt and S Martin coming off the bench.
To come for Eden is a pair of defenders in N Vlastuin and H Andrews.

    Anything is possible!

Into the second half at the Crater we have a great battle on our hands.

Some great individual performances on both sides with Matera performing up forward for the Buffaloes while Tom Lynch & Rory Lobb are keeping @tyze1 's Bulls in the contest despite some great efforts in defence for the Buff from Haynes and Harbrow

Current scores have the Buffaloes 1018/11/92.5 v the Bulls 668/7/95.4

In a very close game at The Stadium, The Barcrawlers 14/1124/80.3 lead the visiting Prairie Dogs 12/984/82.

It's all up to last man Tuohy to do it for the locals, while Henderson Breust and Shiels will try and grab the win for Hughenden.

8/9's of the way through the match at the Sandpit and it's the home town Sandgropers holding a slender lead (953/12/79) albeit with one more player over @Mick 's visiting Blowflies (945/11/86). With Duncan, Rioli & an OOP Taylor left against the visitors Hodge, Menegola, Puopolo & Cockatoo the odds are in Korumburra's favour to leave with a commanding 4 - 0 head to head record against Southern Cross. I guess there's always next year.

8/9th of the way through the game in Coolgardie, and @HOLKY Eden have already found their way to the pub.

    Coolgardie 1143 / 14 / 81.6 Parfitt to come
    Eden 1207 / 15 / 80.5

So it comes down to Parfitt... Can he score 65 or more points? Lets find out!

With one game to play, the equation is simple. Gisborne have finished up with 1139/15/75.9, their highest score for the year with some promising signs shown. Cow Bay are 1079/14/77 (assuming Brendan Whitecross is not a late inclusion), meaning that Jack Gunston must score 61 points for Cow Bay to win. It could easily go either way...
