I managed to make 3 major GFs this year, one in a really high league so that's pleasing. Face off against @anthak in one so I'm a big time underdog there.

Final selection decision of the year:
      Start Newman :thumbsu:or Scharenberg:thumbsd:?

One trade left going into the GF. I reckon Buddy's gonna go big against the Blues.
Who should make way - Nankers :thumbsu: or Dahl :thumbsd: ?

Greenwood and JDC have both been dropped for Sunday.

If you missed it Gary Ablett has been omitted from the squad named on Thursday night, have there been any other withdrawals ?

So, apparently zorko spent 3 days in hospital earlier this week with an infection but expected to play.

Not pleased with greenwood being out :spew:

I've got Witherden as an emergency on my mid bench doing pretty well at half time. I'm actually at the game, at the Gabba for my first time.

I'm considering taking Lloyd (also in my mids) off to take his score, but Lloyd starts before Witherden finishes, so it'll be touch and go but I'll wait until the last minute and I should have a fair idea of Witherden's final score by then...

I had thought Lloyd would go well today with Hannebery out, but he's the safest to bring off in my mids.

Unfortunately we had a 38.5 min 3rd quarter, so I'll have to make a call soon. He's on 81 at 3q time. Worth taking a chance on him I think.

He got a good spoil and a great goal early in the 4th, so I locked him in :)
Hopefully he scores more than Lloyd

Some low scores, some high scores.
      1689/15 (Danger cap)

V disappointed with Rocky & Tuohy, and happy with Murphy & Buddy.

The main GF I want to win, against @churchboy , I'm 99 ahead, with Yeo, Dusty & Hurn against his Heppell, Zerrett & Betts.

In terms of overall, PODs I've got to come are: Hurn, Fyfe, Neale & Nank

      How's everyone else going?

I should point out that I don't mean any disrespect to other TS folk (@graeme @port_leschenault @UnderAchievers @Chris White et al) who I'm up against this week, it's just that this guy's been sledging me all season, so I'd be gutted to lose that one! lol

I have improved a little in a H2H lower half grand final due to Buddy and Danger who were both POD's.

Assuming no late outs my side is chasing 31 plus Merrett with Dusty and Rance, with both of us having the C on Fyfe at this stage.

Not putting the C on Danger will cost me in the overall unless Fyfe can go 145 plus as I am seeing most GF's with at least one team over 100 per player. Currently 1435/15 (Fyfe to be my C).

No late changes in the 110pm match.

No doubt there will be plenty of Dees/Saints fans cheering for Freo and the Crows today.

Poor end to the year. Going at 1653/16 with danger as captain. This includes a top notch 10 from parsons due to any of no witts, hurley, greenwood, berry. Also haven't lost a game in the only league I am in all year but going to lose the GF almost definitely as no buddy but opponent has buddy. :thumbsd::spew:

Oh well....c'est la vie. Good luck to everyone else.

I'm on 2270 with halves from Yeo, Laird and Hurn still to come.
      Hoping for 2400+

Well actually, I'm really hoping Hurn has a blinder of a 2nd half and scores 150+ and I finish with 2500+ haha... even though that's less likely, I've got my fingers and toes crossed :D

Even still, it's a pretty average finish for my team and I doubt I'm any chance to sneak into the top10. Looks like I'm gonna lose a few of my grand finals.

I will keep my toes and fingers crossed though. I think my chances are riding on super POD Hurn!
