I was actually comparing wits and Newman in terms of cash gen and if they both get their averages from here on in then I think there's about 100k in it, and I'd be about 90 points per week better off with witts and dusty than swapping Nank into ruck and bringing in Newman...

90 pts vs 100k. And id be trading out Omeara. Just not sure how much of a loss that would be. I don't think he's a keeper and realistically how much cash will he make?

Hearing that JOM is gunna be out tonight. Might make it easier to trade him out.

TU - Pickett - Hayward & Omeara via (Adams Dpp) Newman?

TD- Stewart - Newman live with Pickett and deal with him and save the trades

I think it's no use chasing Swallow now if you haven't got him (raises hand). If you trade JOM look to either upgrade him or downgrade.

      Barratt omitted , grrrrrrrrrr !!!

Cedrix Cox a confirmed in, and Parfitt named onfield

Menzel in for his 2nd game.

Zac Fisher could be one to watch for Round 6, as a 2016 version of Charlie Daniel - being under-sized but having elite junior stats

Downgrade would leave my midfield far too weak (already have 2 rookies on the ground) and not enough cash to upgrade, I haven't made a trade yet so Newman will be my first, and will look at JOM to Swallow as a corrective
    11. port_leschenault

Can't afford a premium mid? Or to upgrade to a premium up forward/back and move someone via DPP. You're sideswapping a mid-pricer to a mid-pricer. Seems a waste of a trade.
    12. Waldo666
      Waldo666
Correct, only have $116k ITB, it seemed a waste of a trade to me too before JOM was announced out with a knock to his knee and whilst they say he should be fine for next week well with his history we should be very wary. I might just be asking for trouble seeing as Swallow has similar form in the injury department as well but he has hit the ground running whereas JOM clearly has not
    13. Owen

how's about JOM out for Ryan Burton with swinging a DPP into midfield?

Most are bringing in Newman this week I assume, how many of you are starting him on field? Tossing up between him and Hampton for D6 this week. Newman has obviously started much better and looks solid, though a trip to Perth to play the eagles is no easy feat. Hampton looks to be building each week, however, I haven't watched any crows games so no idea how he is actually playing. Crows play Essendon, arguably an easier game than West Coast in Perth.

      TU - Newman
      TD - Hampton

      Hi guys,
      Rookie carnage!!!
Question do we think Barrett will get back in any time soon?
      Thumbs up yes

      Thumbs down no

I think its unlikely with who they have brought in and he isn't even in the 25

I like it the kids got talent is a bit of a pod and let's face it ball is going to be in the hawks backline a lot, just hopefully it doesn't go over his head all the time

awakwardly priced - so probably better to go the likes of "proven" players liek Swallow, WHE, Witts or the sub $150k options, as a hawks fan I would love to be proven wrong
