I don't mind Murphy and he could end up being a bargain but if you have $600k plus is there any particular reason you haven't targeted the Fyfe/Pendles/Rocky/Sloane/Selwood types ?

Guys like Lachie Neale and Hanners are going to be cheap soon and you can always get a $500k-$550k Premo mid later on if cash is the consideration.

Do we all need to take yeo seriously now?? I had him last year burnt me more tims than I can remember. But now with the lack of premium forwards I think he needs to be looked at.

Predicted to be priced at $464,500 for Round 5, it sounds like he has a settled role rather than being Mr Fix-It as in past seasons.

I already have Fyfe don't want Pendles as I already have Treloar same with ducky as I already have Dangerfield (I try and spread midfield to 1 premo per team)trying not to spend all available cash with likes of Sloane almost using all cash and no rocky for me as I also hold beams.

I use to take this approach but you should not be afraid to have multiples of the same team if they are top shelf premiums like Pendlebury.
There's always exceptions to the rules.

However I would recommend that it doesn't hurt your bye structure.

I tend to agree, watch the bye structure rather than the number of players from each club.

Why did Barrett deserve omission, he was not bad enough for that surely.

Dropped after his best SC scoring game suggests he may need to work on his defensive game, or that the MC have gone for a different mix of players in order to tweak the game plan.

I would hang onto him if possible given he should have decent (ie low) breakeven and a couple of injuries, another game plan tweak and/or decent NEAFL form could have him back into the team pretty quickly. Dump the 0 and 1 game and high breakeven rookies ahead of him if possible.

Thanks TheTassieHawk. I'm planning to dump one of Barrett and Bowes before the GC game starts tonight, question is which one? Might be one for the thumbs!

TU: Barrett ($170K, MID only, -25 BE, just been dropped and no idea when he could be back)
TD: Bowes ($186K, MID/FWD, 39 BE, playing this week)

      Thanks in advance!

      How's everyone going?
I'm on 1770/18 - cap already played (loopholed Dalhaus)

Got Danger, Roughie, Tuohy & Titch playing tomorrow.

It would be nice to score 2200, but even that might be a stretch.

Seems like a fairly low scoring round, but some players have smashed it, so I'm wondering how others are going overall.

1744 with selwood roughy burton and Captain danger to come. Some solid scores across the field with rockliff smashing it and hampton being the lowest with 52. decided not to loophole sloanes 124 it was right in that should i or shouldn't i zone but with my nose in front in my 2 head to head games decided not to risk a huge score to dangerfield (i lost a couple of games last year when i took the C off him on loophole) Disappointed in treloar and KK who were pods i rolled the dice on who arent repaying the faith. Unfortunately ive used too many rookie correction trades already plus the gawn injury one so dont have the luxury of offloading either of them

Projected 2152 which is because Danger has 290 sitting next to his name.

Danger as captain killed me, 90 before scaling, needs shitloads of scale imo, would have been better off taking Kennedy's 113 but 125 has been my tick line and it's worked more often than not

My mistake was not vcing Dahlhaus who I could have loopholed and instead vcing Fyfe who I couldnt loophole. If so I would have locked in the 145 and my round would have been slightly less disasterous.
