    The Buffaloes are back home at The Crater this week to take on trade partners the Staghorn Flat Bulls. The team for round 4 is as follows (pending late changes);

    IN: Pittard, Elliott
    OUT: Gleeson, McCartin

D: Jarrod Harbrow, Steven May, Nick Haynes, Jasper Pittard (Gleeson)
M: Patrick Dangerfield, Zac Merrett, Josh Kelly, Jared Polec (Aish)
    R: Hickey
F: Charlie Dixon, Sam Reid, Jack Riewoldt, Joe Daniher (Smith)
I: Brandon Matera, Jamie Elliott (McCartin)

Jasper Pittard comes into the side after the scurrilous financial rumours floated around last week and will play his first game for the year alongside Jamie Elliott who will play his first game for the Buffaloes since 2015. Both players have been named despite injury clouds hanging over their heads with dropped pair Gleeson and McCartin waiting in the wings should they not get up for the clash.

In a scenario that has got team management utterly bamboozled, the selection committee had the potential of more than 15 names to choose from and it has been reported that at least one member has asked for stress leave after not knowing how to deal with that sort of situation.

Nah mate, he's like "Cher" or "Madonna", he just goes by one name (ok, maybe I need some examples of people who go by just their surname... "Seinfeld" maybe ??? Or even better: "Kramer"!!!)

Not that I think he'll survive final team sheets, but Markov comes in as an OOP mid emergency for Atley.

Round 4 - Korumburra Blowflys vs Southern Cross Sandgropers

The Blowflys (9th) travel all the way to Southern Cross (13th) this week.

The all time record between these teams stands at 3-0 to Korumburra!

Plenty of tough decisions and last minute fitness tests loom again for the Korumburra team selection commitee. The growing depth for KB is a welcome problem to have.

    At this stage -

    IN : M. Kennedy, N. Cockatoo, Z. Fisher

OUT : Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti (omitted), S. Johnson (knee), O. Florent (omitted)

    NEW : Z. Fisher

Matt Kennedy has been beating down the door so hard he smashed it off the hinges! He's earned his spot after another big game in the 2's with 36 possessions, 6 tackles and a goal!

Young Zac Fisher has shown enough earlier than expected to get his first guernsey for the Flys. KB list management team are hoping they got a steal with this young kid who was picked up in the top up draft after being missed in the PSD! Comparisons have even been made between Zac and a young Diesel Williams!

Liam Picken still has to pass a final concussion test. Steve Johnson will be rested with a swollen knee. Billy Hartung was close after solid form in the 2's as was another recent draftee in Jordan Gallucci. Nakia Cockatoo may make a miraculous early return from a broken hand if he feels comfortable playing with a hand guard. Tippa and Ollie Florent the unlucky ones to miss out at this stage but as has been the case the last 2 weeks, a late emergency might get a run for the Blowflys...

    D - S. Docherty, J. Johannisen, J. Hunt, L. Hodge (EMG A. McDonald-Tipungwuti)
    M - R. Sloane, M. Barlow, L. Picken, S. Menegola (EMG B. Hartung)
    R - T. Goldstein
    F - M. Walters, P. Puopolo, M. Kennedy N. Cockatoo (EMG O. Florent)
    IC - J. Redden, Z. Fisher (EMG J. Gallucci)
