4 picks to go = 98 Nangkita, 99 Port Lincoln, 103 Heard Island, 105 Useless Loop

The final 4 picked in 2017 were Ryan Davis (Wedge Island), David Cuningham (Rutherglen), Zach Guthrie (Mt Thirsty) and Josh Thomas (Wedge Island). Only one of those 4 made the 24 man cut (Guthrie) and that followed being traded immediately after the 2017 PSD, while Cuningham has just been picked up by Drouin in the 2018 PSD after being delisted by the Fugitives.

Will this years later than late picks fare any better than last year's vintage ?

    This is now as follows

    Oldest (average age) - JJD 26.36, MIW 26.22, MLA 25.88, 29ers 25.67, DROUIN 25.54, RGF 25.38, ULV 25.01, MTB 24.98

    Youngest - MCG 21.31, WPW 22.43, CBA 22.72, HIS 22.95, WIW 23.53, NIN 23.69, PLP 24.54, NKB 24.58

It appears that Nangkita "Bucked" the trend of getting younger via the PSD however they still rank mid-table for average age.
