2018 Round 14 Review

    The byes are done and dusted, once lockout is over your new rank will hopefully be better than it was going into Round 12 and with 9 rounds to go teams are getting closer to being complete.

    How do you feel your team is going, which players are in your sights to complete your team and how are our best leagues now placed ?

    Please note the poll below should hopefully indicate how you went relative to other TSers over the byes, but those teams who used less trades than others should be lower than those who burnt through them to avoid donuts

      I hope Redman is fine, I was patting myself on the back as I brought him in a week early so I could afford Josh Kelly, and he was performing well. Then I see that he was on crutches at the end of the game with ice around his ankle. Here's hoping it was just a precaution and nothing serious.

      Thanks for the heads-up, wasn't aware of that. Another Thursday game this week, a nightmare for waiting out the injuries especially with the Dons being on Sunday.

      I've worked out I need to go 1-up/1-down every week over round 15, 16 and 17 (i.e. 6 trades) - or 2 trades down this round but then 3 trades up across 16 and 17, ultimately saving me a trade.
      Which I can then use to probably upgrade Rockliff too (I have English on Ruck bench that I currently don't feel I have a spare trade to release the cash from, but if I save a trade here I'd switch him to Olango and bank 180k).

      Thank God the byes are over - as I said last week I thought that I had prepared well for them the all hell broke loose. Scored 5007 over the period and dropped 7000 places and used up 7 trades instead of a 2 that I had planned. I down to 5 trades and will need to hope that my injury woes are over.

      My pitiful effort was 4990, which just about sums up my season so far. Between injuries, dropped rookies and under performing "Premiums", all hands to the pump for the remainder of games, see if I can dig myself out of the mire.

      Yeah, it happens when an article gets "stickied" to the front page. The language in it is a bit confusing, so it's easy to tick it when it doesn't need to be ticked (thus causing it to get stuck to the top of the page)

      I guess I’ll need to wait for teams’ announcement but I’m hopeful I can make 1 trade to complete my team.
      Laird is my biggest worry of all premiums.

      Pretty happy I dodged the Treloar bullet(although I am a pies man)have a trade conundrum going L Murphy - L Ryan (freo) and wanted to get either Westhoff for Fritsch or Fritsch out dpp keefe to fwd and get Lloyd.
