Cripps is back along with Gawn... Hore, Josh Kelly, M Parker, G Logue all out

Doubts exist on Lycett & Boak and several relevant players named on extended interchanges... Hately, Chol, Ryder

Who is trading Jelly, personally I'm holding as I have no trades ;) - hoping Hately fills the void and goes bang! Lots of rookies getting games now ruining their value for next season

What is everyone planning tradewise, who are your VC/C selections? Surely a sensible choice for VC is Grundy tonight who will run NicNat into the ground. Good luck all!

Here we go again on and off the merry-go-round, It is hard to get a constant buzz going, why is it that J Kelly always get injured at about this time, (memo to self) never take him again the lad is made of tissue paper, plus as always never trust Ross Lyons .!!

I have a full team named if Chol makes the Richmond 22. I will most likely be trading Hore to either Hurn (if Chol is named) or an F6 up to $570k (if Chol is not named).

I am passing on Hanrahan and with 7 trades left after this week will upgrade/downgrade in Rounds 18 or 19 to build cash and get my team finals ready.

No Grundy in the team means Fyfe or Cripps takes the VC and Neale most likely takes the C but I will adjust as needed if I have the upper hand in League matches and can cancel out opposition C choices (Macrae and Gawn).

      3 trades left. Do I...

      :1:Hold
:2:Last Mid Upgrade (Walsh to $550k mid)
:3:Cover Hore to avoid Donut (and use up spare cash)
:4:Find a way to do 3 & 4 and yolo rest of season with one trade
      • Option 3 Option 3 x 3
      • Option 4 Option 4 x 1

Hore isnt back any time soon... it'll be a weekly donut depending on your other cover so you might as well bite the bullet... my daughter is having to do the same with her TG team but she's $9k short of Sicily which is quite the pickle

What are the other cheaper alternatives to Sicily? Back to Brodie Smith? Shaw? Savage? It's really try to save money and get one of those guys, otherwise, just grab Houli or Ryan and Walsh is forever held at M8.

Mmmmmm Logue Omitted not great news with Hore inured, Duursma on extended bench have cover in def with Answerth also in the mids with Hind and Clarke but looks like a JKelly to a mid under 590k to help generate the Hore to Sicily trade. So who comes in for JKelly

      Option 1 - Cunnington
      Option 2 - Oliver
      Option 3 - Treloar
      Option 4 - Sloane
      Option 5 - Shuey/Yeo/Gaff
Left out Zorko off the list as i have SC Black banned him after pooing it up all last year

Sort of in a similar position as you with the 3 Trades.
Though I have a sort of Finished side minus injured Jelly (cover from either Rowbottom or D.Clarke) Holding him is a no choice here.
Boak? (currently have no FWD cover with Gardiner and Young)
and B.Smith at D5/D6 with Hore, Logue and Rotham D6 to Bench.

      Two plans
      1. Use 2 of the last 3 trades on Hore and Logue. Trade up to anyone in Def bar Z.Williams, Whitfield, Rampe and grab Quaynor.
and hope like hell no more tombstone's for the season.

2a. Use 1 trade only on Hore and bring back in D.Moore or someone 400k or below, who might avg 75-80 for the rest.
      or
2b. Just downgrade Hore to Quaynor and hope his one game and draft pick position is enough info for a valid D6???

6 weeks with only one trade is not enough in my mind in the run home. 2 is not great but soo much better.....

2a probably but the options aren't great. Tuohy scored 115 last round, may be ride the form? Join the Witherden roller coaster? Form all over the place though.

There is a few options like that. The Std Dev of players around that mark isn't great.

Duursma out so looks like will have to play Clarke or Hind in the mids and Answerth in defence

I am running the same setup at D6 and M8, I reckon a lot of coaches will be scrambling in a similar way or fielding a donut.

Tuohy is a decent shout; Cats should run rings round the Saints this week.

My guess is Duursma and Hately out has meant a ton of coaches running the same this week - Clarke and Answerth on-field. Only if your Mid/Def were complete or you traded Jelly and/or Hore for a similar priced option are you avoiding using these bench guys.

Personally I was messing with my team and forgot I'd not reversed changes - I had JCameron in fwd and Danger in Midfield (giving the DPP option with Setterfield). But JC scoring recently has been horrendous so I'd looked at Danger to fwd and bring in Gaff or another mid around 530k (was thinking Shiel might score well rest of the way), or using 2 trades to get rid of Hannebery for Hanrahan, Setterfield onto Mid bench and have budget for Cameron to Bont or Oliver.
Screwed that up though, forgot to reverse changes and I'm stuck with Gaff. Should I still do the Hannebery to Hanrahan switch?

In my TG team my forward bench is Young and Gardner so I was strongly considering Hanrahan just for cover for Boak (and others) but I guess that same problem could occur next round and Hanrahan gets omitted.

So who is rolling with Grundy's 137 for VC?

      TU - bank Grundy score
TD - Gawn (Preuss named in side at CHF)
1 - Fyfe (travelling to U of Tas)
      2 - Cripps (SCG)
3 - Oliver (Marvel vs Dogs
4 - Macrae (Marvel vs Dees)
      5 - someone else

Personally I am reluctant to look past 137, but Macrae is a force at Marvel, I think I'm going for him. Sloane vs Suns or Kelly vs Saints could be a smokey based on matchups....
