In breaking news Southern Cross have announced that the club will be closing for the foreseeable future. The club, players and town have taken it upon themselves to close the hotel, the pub and all non-essential services until further notice. At this point in time there are no confirmed cases of COVID19 within either the club nor town and the locals are hopeful things remain this way. Until Round 2, stay safe everyone.

Ghost town in here. How’s everyone tracking? Everyone safe and well? I’m probably wrong but our little community has been together for 8(?) years now. I’ve known some of you guys longer than my youngest kid I sincerely hope that all of you and your families are safe, well and happy. Although this virus is worse for people 80+ and those with respiratory issues (my wife and daughter both suffer from reasonably severe asthma) it’s still going to be flu like for many of us. Stay away from the ignorant “she’ll be right” crowd, as they’re likely to pass it on to you. I’m sure for some of us work is the most intense it’s been for a long time, while for others we know it’s potentially the end of their jobs. If anyone needs to vent I’m going to set up a thread where we can just pour it all out with no fear of judgement. I certainly know there’s a couple of people I work with that id be happy to not hear from for a while, so if you’ve got something to get off your chest, or you just want a plain old whinge about some of the idiots that are out there head over and post to your hearts content. My thoughts and best wishes are with all of you guys, your loved ones and the broader TS community.

Just checking in from "The Land of Smiles" although not too many here are smiling right now. Nationwide Curfew from 10pm-4am in place. Sale of Alcohol is banned til 30th April. I only have 1/2 litre Benmores left to last til then, so might have to hit the SangSom Rum if things become desperate. Not looking forward to that too much... Advised to only leave home for essentials, like buying food, and must wear a mask in public or risk a 20,000 baht fine and time in "the monkey house" (jail). Ahhhhh...........living the dream.....55555555 Hurry back all things ORFFU.......
They have scheduled games for the 31st of May, but I agree... June more likely. If I was AFL Commish, I would wait and see how the NRL goes first
