    I've updated the PSD & List Changes threads to reflect the 3 picks.

    Just clarifying so I understand potential trade options properly. If I have 3 spots available on my list so 3 picks active but I trade a player out now for a pick that was active for another team, can I use that pick I've brought in or do I have to wait till the end of the draft for the 4th spot I've created?

    @wrightbrendan
    This is my take on that....if you have 25 players on your list, you have 3 picks in the upcoming draft. As trading is still allowed, if you trade out a player and in return get an "active" pick, then that pick becomes your 4th pick if it falls prior to your #69.
    However I don't believe non-active picks can be traded.
    Maybe someone in admin can confirm....

    I remember a while back where there was a trade during one draft where Saad went out for a late first. That late first was then used by the coach receiving it so I'd say that yes you can use that pick and pick #69 becomes inactive.

    In last years MSD, the 1st pick was taken by Blanchetown on 21st July and on the 22nd July I traded pick 13 for Sam Collins and Ararat took Curtis Taylor with that pick 13.....

    So I'd say it's a go.......

    Absolutely you can use that pick @wrightbrendan
    Only proviso is that the pick has to be live for the other team at time of trade. i.e. not already voided by their lack of list spots.
    in other words, I couldn’t trade you my pick #85 because that was to be my 4th pick but I only have 3 list spots so it was voided.

    Breaking (unfortunate) News

    The Eden Whalers have held a press conference and announced that the highly revered Coach, CEO and Spirit Animal @HOLKY has taken some time away to go whaling.
    All the FU sends their well wishes to the great man and will welcome him back whenever he returns (hopefully soon if he is up to it!).
    Fellow ORF*n @Len has kindly acquiesced to caretaking.

    No pressure @Len, but the pre-season draft resumes in about 15+hrs from now at 8am tomorrow, with Pick 2 to be taken, and you have Pick 5.....;)

    Hi TIB - apologies for the confusion - KI Guy is running the draft for Gisborne (although I assume his pick will be quite similar!)
