    The Barracuda's finished on 1,323/15 88.2 to the Barcrawlers @choppers on 1,330/15 88.7

The Cuda’s are absolutely gutted, in only their second loss for the season.

To @choppers well done coach, consistent footy from your mob today, good luck to you in the Big Dance.

Thanks....yeah ! big surprise, didn't expect that...especially after my previous attempts, finishing 16th/15th/7th/18th/13th/8th/10th.

Now for the next step........I wonder who my opponents might be.....;)

Good luck in the grand final, sorry I do not have time to write up a match report as my mother in law just passed away.

Cracking Grand Final match to come though. Very excited for a coach to win their first flag ever!

    Semi Finals Round 22
Groote Eylandt Barracudas 1,324 defeated by Banchang Barcrawlers 1,330

On the road again for the Barcrawlers after taken out the Blowflys at the infamous Terror dome. The Barracuda’s had a strong win against the Prairie Dogs at home.

In bad news out of Groote Eylandt, defenceman Jake Lloyd won’t be entertaining us with his pace, foot skills and moustache. This will stretch the depth of the Cuda’s.

Lycett started off like a trojan until the end of the 2Q were he received a nasty knee knock and left the ground and Ladhams took over after booting a couple, however the man-made mountain in Stanley smashed out 31 hit outs and even had time for a goal.
2 meter Peter mis-matched on Kolodjashnij who was slow off the mark, pressure man Elliott did lots of good things, ANB playing outside mid. The home side Stocker gave away too many free with his inexperience. Weitering was solid and McGovern lead the way with 16 disposals and stood the resting ruck.

Smith for the home side was back and back to the half forward running the lines, Tomahawk slotted 3, Zorko the Magnificent had a gun performance with 9 big tackles and ball magnet Hall had 30 touches. This didn’t detour the visitors, Doedee started half back, Jonas played high up the field gathering touches. Collins kept Gulden very quiet, teaching the young gun a thing or two. Dawson had 14 kicks and was everywhere on the ground an awesome effort.

Robbie the Gray was in flying form off the bench, 2 gaols while also rotating through the midfield and put the visitors in front.
The midfield hot box was ready to explode, STOP!!!!! Where’s Corn Boy Cripps!, The coach could see on the paddock the boys number but it was JS. It appears Crippa had a big night.

Young Sharp made good strides tagging LDU who also rotated through the forward line. Jacky Graham had the outside mid but couldn’t keep up with Langdon’s leather poisoning. The visitors Adam’s kept pace for most of the game with Guthrie who gathered 36 possessions. And for one of the first times in a long time The Bont got out cherry picked by Lyon’s.

In what seemed like a time warp, things just slowed down like a dream or nightmare, the ball leaves Stanley fingers tips, it’s sharked by Adams, who palmed it off the Robbie the Gray, who bounced and kicked across field to Lyon’s who had just about every player on their way toward him, he chucked the pig skin on the boot and let it ripped, it bounced, it shimmied, it flicked and dribbled through the big white sticks. A sound was heard that screamed through the air. Some cried, some had hands on their hips, and some were so exhausted they just feel to the ground.

The @choppers Barcrawlers have done it, they’re going to the big dance!

    Grand Final
    Banchang Barcrawlers v Serengeti Buffaloes

It's all come down to this. We know the 2021 premiership cup will be leaving the shores of the mainland, but to which foreign country it will be headed, who knows? Will it be the second successful trip the Buffaloes make to the grand final or will it be the Barcrawlers savouring ultimate success for the first time in club history?

Form Line - Last 5 scores
    Banchang: 1330, 1290, 1330, 1102, 1233
The Barcrawlers have shown an impressive consistency through the finals alongside an ability to get across the line in tight contests. Achieved all the way through without talismanic midfielder Hugh Greenwood.
    Serengeti: 1397, 1361, 1211, 1315, 1411
The Buffaloes are finding form at the right time of year putting in two impressive finals performances so far and benefiting from being able to field close to a full strength lineup.

    Matchup
The Barcrawlers are quickly becoming a crowd favourite as their cinderella finals run has continued right through to the final match of the year. Taking down the might of the Barracudas is no small feat and they will now have their sights firmly set on toppling the Buffaloes. Midfield gun Jarryd Lyons continues to lead from the front but the team has grown through the finals by finding plenty of support. After an inconsistent year Taylor Adams is putting in some vintage performances , Jordan Dawson & Tom Doedee are patrolling the backline but it is the big men the Barcrawlers have been leaning on to really push their scoring into finals winning tiers. Peter Ladhams, Scott Lycet & Peter Wright have all put in match winning performances at different stages but not to be outdone, Alex Neal-Bullen & Robbie Gray have shown that it's not just the key position spots that have game changing abilities. The Buffaloes have always placed a premium on top performing mids and have been well served by Merrett, Parish & Kelly. Captain Dangerfield has been able to put on his cape once again but an improved backline and an improving ruck in Sam Draper is what has really pushed the Buffaloes to the brink of their next ultimate success

    Prediction
Form and history say that the Buffaloes should be winners here but after two mighty victories that have brought them this far, who's to say Banchang can't go one more? It would be a popular victory in the ORFFU community but there's at least one coach hoping that Banchang success waits at least one year longer.

Good job with the preview @wrightbrendan.

Here's my Prediction......it starts and ends with tonight's game.
If the 4 'crawlers, Jonas, Lycett, Gray and Ladhams don't score at least 150 pts more than the 3 Buffs, McKenzie, Smith and Burton, then the Cup is on it's way to Serengeti....

If you're right, and I can add up properly, then it's:
    126 + 117 + 77 + 60 = 380
    91 + 90 + 73 = 254
Which is only a 126 point margin, so the Buff will win it.

Actually Smith got 82, after scaling, giving SB 263, so you're probably correct.....but stranger things have happened....;)
