The Ducks backline switcharoo from last week certainly didn't pay off with Aliir (53) and Powell (25) returning massive scores of 126 and 153 respectively. Unfourtnately Aliir was nowhere to be seen, but warming the bench certainly proved successfull for Powell and he will likely get a start in the 15. The Glow Worms are certainly copping their whack of injuries and player availability did their best to avoid a Danger disaster, but after a slowish start are trailing at the end of Saturdays matches.

    JJD 931/10 leads MCG 573/7.

Crisp, Noble, Lever, TMac (injury cloud?), Grundy to come for the Ducks, Ridley, Bailey Williams, Petracca, Darcy, Hind, Sidebum, McCarthy for the Glow Worms.

The Cannon's score is enough for us to loophole and so we put Daniel on the interchange as last move to lock in team.

    Woylie's score atm is 631/7 (90.1ave)

Glow-Worms and Ducks are playing out an almighty tussle, both sides facing injury issues and some regular performers disappointing.

We enter the last break with Jan Juc on 13/1202 (McDonald, Lever to come) to Mole Creeks 14/1214 (Petracca remaining)

The Ducks would be confident heading into tomorrow, although if the rumored Mcdonald withdrawal happens that would activate Rohan's 9 which would be a huge blow.

With one game remaining Whales are on 1079/12 (89.91), while the Woylies are on 1146/12 (95.5), so it comes down to Oliver, Yeo & Darling + 67 points for Walpole vs Harmes, Brayshaw & Naitanui for Macquarie Island. It isn't beyond the realms of possibility that the Whales stage a comeback, but the reigning premiers will be hard to catch.

I like the drama, Monday night showdown for both finals!

Luckily Ducks have a secret weapon in Bayley Fritsch that may make an appearance if called upon.

TMac out, Fritsch in. Certainly makes things interesting! Narrowly avoided a Duggan catastrophe as well, bloody Monday night games!

So basically its Petracca + 12 vs Lever + Fritsch

At QT - Petracca 30, Lever + Fritsch 30. Status quo!

    Petracca 45 + 12 vs Lever 29 + Fritsch 18

Lever and Fritsch have managed to give away 5 freekicks and tally 6 clangers between them, keeping their scores low.

Noise of affirmation at the Glow Worms home ground is making the difference.

Yes, it was me who called down the lightning and have the match suspended. It was my last resort.

Yeah I think the Woylies are back at the Big Dance by around 90pts. Players had to turn up on the last day and thankfully they did.

Congratulations @port_leschenault on your win. For the Whales everything had to go right for us to be competitive, however an injury to Smith, and some below average midfield performances made the difference.

Disappointing to miss out with the 2nd highest score this week, but from dead last at the time of the 2020 MSD, to loosing preliminary finalists this year, is an incredible rise. Having spent time at the bottom of the table, hopefully our success this year is the start of an extended stay at or near the top.

Good luck to both Grand finalists.
