The Whales are coming a little late to the trading party, but the following may be of interest

    Rantall
    Winder
    Jacob Wehr
    Darcy Macpherson
    George Hewett

We have one eye on the future and the other on to making the most of our surprising rise into the top-8 this year. So happy to sacrifice a couple of years on MacPherson, Hewett & Elliott to get hold of higher averaging player but looking for younger guys or draft picks (MSD or PSD upgrades or outright) for the first 3.

A reminder that Higgins is available. he is younger than Pendles, has 18 months on his contract compared to 6 for the Rutherglen veteran and is likely much cheaper due to not being packaged with a 1st round pick. Should average similarly and provide a depth option for a strong team.

As mentioned in the auction thread the trade deadline is extended to 930pm.

The delist deadline is remaining at 10pm so it will be a busy last hour if the Pendles plus Fugs 1st rounder goes down to the wire.

Boozers are online. Always willing to trade. Still would like an extra top 10 MSD pick. Or to upgrade from picks 25 and 42.
We have plenty of PSD picks that are all up for grabs.

Definitely thought he was going one, and I would have picked Dale too. But not unhappy with big Neddy, I'm not too stressed about Ceglar :spud:

I know nothing about the kid and didn't see his game on the weekend, but a quick google shows me that the West Coast forums are trying to decide if he's the next Judd or next Pendlebury. Not bad after his second game!

Nice pick. I had several rucks on my list at each pick until it was 2 at my 2nd last pick and really should have picked Bryan at #49, realising that Long was unlikely to go with the only pick in between (#63) but the last established backup ruckman might.

Having had a further look I decided to go with Cook as a longer term bet as well but one which avoids 3 project rucks from the same draft year all clogging list spots within a very young list, which as of my last pick is now the youngest in the comp by average age, and set to get younger again next season.

The 29ers updated trade block for the post draft trade period is as follows

    2022 (29ers) PSD 2nd rounder (likely 17-19)
    2022 (Boozers) PSD 2nd Rounder (likely 24-28)
2022 MSD 1st Rounder (very likely top 3)
    2022 (29ers) PSD 3rd rounder (likely 33-35)
    2022 (Boozers) PSD 5th rounder (likely 72-76)

Player wise we are looking to see if anyone is interested in trading for Callum Sinclair as a backup ruck option based on a low price and reasonable likelihood of Hickey picking up a niggle sometime in the next 8-9 weeks, and as always we are willing to listen to offers on any of our players.

    Jordon Sweet.

I liked the part of the draft where it was just us 2 drafting.

Me too, although I am trying not to make a habit of drafting the scraps each and every draft.

Mole Creek has a surplus of rucks, and a few fringe players we would be happy to discuss for more playing depth.

Preuss, Reeves, Moyle, Petrevski-Seton, Gresham all available for discussion.

Happy to discuss a deal for a decent FWD or DEF will also consider a deal for a backup RUC who will play weekly.

Boozers open for discussion too... quiet happy with our draft acquisitions, but as per usual, most players are up for trade at the right price. Looking at building for the future and would be keen to improve our PSD draft situation.

    Hit me up...

Any risk takers want a piece of Shuey? Played in the WAFL this weekend and should make his AFL return against the Dogs.
