    Ziebell is Out
So maybe Dunkley gets a reprieve afterall.
Toby Greene is named, so we can slot him in.

Steven May is named too, so up for discussion, perhaps in place of either Cumming or Blicavs?

Also, if we name May onfield, we wouldn’t necessarily need Isaac Smith in fwd line, but he’s probably good enough on merit anyway.

Do we want Dunkley or Brown to take Ziebell’s spot?
or do we want both of them & May instead of Cumming?

    The latest:

Def - Whitfield, Daniel, Lloyd, Rich, Cumming, Ryan (May)

Mids - Oliver, Merrett, Parker, Miller, Walsh, Guthrie, Mitchell, Taranto (Wines)

    Ruc - Gawn, Goldstein (O'Brien)

Fwd - Greene, Smith, Dale, Stringer, Wingard, Dunkley (Brown)

Do we want to swap Dunkley & Brown?

Our team isn’t looking as strong as previous seasons.

I think we need to post the team by 1pm.

Anyone have any thoughts about this lineup?

1pm will not be strictly enforced but the idea is to get it done before 5pm so people can focus on SC and other keeper league teams rather than get distracted by this or ignore it completely.

Looks a pretty solid team, but replace O'Brien as ruck Emergency due to not playing.
I personally would have Wines on field on the strength of his 139 last time against Dogs, he'll be the prime mover again in our win tonight ;)

Who should we drop for Wines?
Oliver, Merrett, Parker, Miller, Walsh, Guthrie, or Mitchell,

Unless we drop Taranto, and pick up a different player from @MrsBear ? Perhaps a fwd to replace Dunkley?

I would say Taranto is the weakest of the mids - score last week was boosted by the goals but with Toby back he definitely won't be playing that role.
Dixon is probably the only PLP forward worth considering

That's probably an easy one, Lycett

Of the back of Wines' 161!, this looks like a good call so far.
Taranto would need to score 125+, for Taranto/Dunkley to do better than Wines/Dixon

Last time I logged on there was no talk of Dixon getting a spot. Was surprised to see him in the lineup when just checking now. Hopefully his score won’t matter come the end.

It all depends on how Taranto goes.
Dunkley only scored 66, so we only lost 36 points there, whereas Wines went huge with 161.
I initially thought we should play Taranto as our Port Lincoln player, but it was a good call by you and Bear to include Wines. Problem was you didn’t say whose place you thought he should take. I agree with Bear that Taranto seemed the obvious one to make way for Wines. And we didn’t take too much of a hit from changing Dunkley to Dixon.

This seems to have sufficiently motivated the Western players so far.

Yeah they’re putting on a show so far, but we’re not getting ahead of ourselves. Still gotta finish the game off strong. Can’t take the East lightly with lots of great players still to come.
