The mismatch between top and bottom on the ladder is underlined by Williams and Cripps sitting on the Glow-Worms bench while both would be top 5 averages for the 29ers this season.

The margin betting line is set at 450 points, let’s see if through something minor miracle our lot can keep it to 350 or less.

If my maths is correct, Mole Creek leads 10/1138 to Black Swamps 8/579

13/1343 to 10/760 after the early match, counting Greenwood’s unfortunate onfield zero for the Glow-Worms.

Now 13/1343 to 13/1083, with 2 to come for the Glow-Worms @James84 and JDG plus half a Callum Brown for the 29ers

The Virgin's are on 1,009/12 84.1 and The Bucks are on 732/15 48.8.

The home has JJK, Dumont and Zurhaar to come.

Sunday night score is 14/1472 to 15/1242 with Mole Creek @James84 having 1 more to come to complete proceedings and the 29ers putting up a decent score but outclassed by the ladder leaders.

Walpole and Wedge Island edged out Rutherglen and Mt Thirsty respectively while Mole Creek, Mac Island and Maralinga were far too strong for Black Swamp, Cockburn rand Drouin respectively in other ORFF Round 14 matches.

Jan Juc broke the hearts of Neptune Island fans worldwide prevailing by 8 points in a 2800 point thriller, which gave them a double digit winning streak (equal 3rd best all time, Noah's have managed 11 and Boozers managed 13) and was also their 8th consecutive successful Unofficial ORFFF Championship defence.

Heard Island took advantage of the Noahs stunning post byes collapse as they defeated Port Lincoln to move into 8th with a round to go.

Useless Loop smashed the Bucks who managed to field numerous donuts despite apparently having 17 fit players, in doing so they drop to 14th

Ladder wise 3 of the top 4 spots are decided with the Whales and Atoms playing for the last finals double chance in round 15.

The Shags appear best placed to finish 8th as they play Nangkita in Round 15, but the White Pointers hope they can defeat the Woylies and overcome a 358 points scored differential to the Shags with a clutch Round 15 score.

While they are mathematically alive the Noahs are now a $150-1 premiership contender as they ponder a much earlier than normal Mad Monday and their defensive coach seeks alternative employment.

The also-rans are tightly packed from 11-14th and are hoping to finish the season off on a positive note.

The 29ers have now registered 12 consecutive losses (equal 2nd worst all time tied with Mole Creek and 4 behind the “first placed” Power who managed 16) and have officially clinched 2022 PSD pick 1 while the Dropbears have all but officially clinched 2022 PSD pick 2.
