Autopick territory for @Lucas as well in 5 mins unless someone has a pick for him autopick is James Trezise @Bearfly up next gotta keep this moving!
Guys we need to pickup the pace. Send shortlists to people, check in on your phone, whatever works. In almost a week we've managed 51 picks, we have more than 80 to go. It's just not going to work unless we ALL put in an effort to be timely. Wednesday next week we face the prospect of me autopicking by average, regardless of role etc, all remaining picks, I doubt that is a desirable outcome for anyone, but it is where we headed right now
@Len with the rocket! If we can at least get to the end of Round 6 (Pick 108) we will at least have our usual squads of 26 to choose from.
Agreed that a rocket is useful and per @stripey’s post that in most cases I think that being up to pick 90 by mid next week would be enough to get Round 1 teams submitted with 15 onfield.
I'm happy with 3 hours between picks however I won't bet getting up at 3am to make my picks, there are many of us in different time zones around Oz, Im in WA and 3 hours behind the eastern states.
Three hours between picks is tough on me in Auckland (2 hours ahead of Melbourne), but really tough on my mate snoz in NY, NY (18 hours behind). We are both on site frequently and respond quickly. The answer lies in those who are tardy smartening their acts up, not penalising those who are in different time zones from the East Coast.
We don't need to shorten, we need people to lift their game. Nobody achieves greatness whilst aiming for mediocrity
yep 3 hours is too tough - we all have various stuff in our lives, timezones, family etc that would get in the way of that being realistic
