Glenbrook Galahs (1st, 32 points) vs. Scone Sirens (9th, 12 points)
Having essentially locked in the minor premiership with an 11 per cent gap on second place, the Galahs can fine tune for the post-season series against the ninth placed Siren. Scone would love to cause an upset - and can actually rise as high as eighth with a big win, but a loss will see them locked into ninth.

Como Comets (11th, 8 points) vs. Timboon Trailblazers (6th, 20 points)
Unfortunately for Timboon, the season is over with fourth and fifth facing off. Mathematically if the Belles win narrowly and the Trailblazers make up 10 per cent then they could theoretically overtake them and grab fourth, but not realistically. The Comets will avoid the wooden spoon with a win, but likely will regardless, and can jump into 10th with a victory.

Wongan Hills Wallabies (4th, 24 points) vs. Bathurst Belles (5th, 20 points)
Very obviously the match of the round, and a virtual elimination final with the winner grabbing fourth spot on the table. The Wallabies can even go up to third if the Valkeries somehow stumble against the last placed Mystix, but that appears unlikely. Regardless, it is a tantalising match with everything to place for and should be the spectacle of the weekend.

Lake St Clair Devils (7th, 16 points) vs. Eastern Park Dragons (10th, 8 points)
While neither side can make finals, both can finish on a high with the Devils being the more potent side this season. Likely to land in seventh, they can freely pick up the win, while the Dragons would need a large percentage boost to overtake the ninth placed Sirens. On the other end of the spectrum, if somehow the bottom two sides both win, the Dragons could even slip into last place.

Vivonne Bay Valkeries (3rd, 28 points) vs. Manildra Mystix (12th, 4 points)
A lob-sided match on paper, the Valkeries should make light work of the Mystix who will almost certainly win the wooden spoon. A shock upset would actually see them overtake the Comets - and maybe even the Dragons - but it will take quite an effort. The Valkeries have been a threat all year and loom as a dark horse in the finals series.

Pomona Wood Nymphs (2nd, 28 points) vs. Junee Jets (8th, 16 points)

Despite having the most points scored against them in the top 10, the Nymphs have still powered their way to seven wins in a simply incredible season. They take on a Jets outfit that does not have the same offensive potency, but still can be a danger. The Jets can move up a spot with a victory, but the Nymphs will love the homeground advantage in the semi-finals.

    Good luck to all teams!

The Galahs think that they meant to play Tighe last week but they didn't, but anyway, she scored 37 and is injured again :(
Carly Remmos also out, Dupuy comes in.
Mounting injury list requires Courtney Murphy as an OOP emergency forward, and nominal IC emergency.

DEF: Niamh McLauglin, Erika O'Shea, Cambridge McCormick (Sarah Verrier)
MID: Georgia Nanscawen, Britt Bonnici, Georgia Patrikios, Ellie Blackburn (Maddy Brancatisano)
FWD: Montana Ham, Zarlie Goldsworthy, Imogen Barnett (Courtney Murphy)
    RUC: Steph Wales (Poppy Kelly)
IC: Jacqui Dupuy, Orla O'Dwyer (Aine Tighe)

Sorry, for my lack of participation this season. I’m a little embarrassed but family took over for the past couple of weeks.

My team remains unchanged for this week.

I’ll have a look at the thread over the weekend and get back into it.

    Did I make the finals?
