Round 3 is already upon us, and after a few surprise results from Round 2, including a draw, this weekend promises to bring some more amazing matches and hopefully a bunch of close games!

    Majorca Islanders @TheTassieHawk (2-0) v Quebec Caribou @FreeKickLiam (2-0)
It's a battle for top spot as someone's gotta win and someone's gotta lose (well unless another draw is on the cards!) The Islanders scored a respectable 959 last week, however were dwarfed by this week's opponents score of 1205! With the Caribou pairing of Riddell and Garner just racking up ridiculous numbers, it might be left to young superstar Ella Roberts for the Islanders to stem the flow. This match will have little to no defence to speak of - watch the scores rack up!!

    Darmstadt Dynamos @WillH_VI (0-2) v Korean Kickers @Chloe (1-1)
The Dynamos score of 943 was trumped last week by the Royals, but this score would have easily accounted for the Kickers, who somehow tripped and lost to the Kruisers. The Dynamos big guns of Marinoff and Bonnici continue to post high scores, while for the Kickers they will need more from Anderson and Lambert if they want to push their score up. Is an upset on the cards?

    Adelaide All-Stars @Corza (0-1-1) v Vancouver Vultures @Athos123 (0-2)
With just a draw the only premiership points between these two sides, this weekend sees a real chance to get off the mark in 2025. The All-Stars played out a stunning draw last week and if not for Laura Gardiner's huge 154, the result might have gone pear-shaped. The Vultures however have been scoring well, but running into opponents just scoring that bit more... Zippy Fish has been a revelation as a rookie but they are crying out for a ruck this week.....

    Lima Llamas @hoschke118 (0-1-1) v Lagos Royals @Peter W (2-0)
A high octane start to 2025 by the Royals sees them sitting pretty at 2-0 and looking at a perfect start to the year. With new recruit Turbo Bowers and the early ACL recovery from Chloe Molloy, coach has put together a team that can score heavily and quickly. The Llamas will need everything from Mia King and Gabby Newton and will need to find a replacement for Liv Purcell after her season ending ACL if they are to stop the Royals in their tracks.

Stuttgart Storm @Jono Steven (1-1) vs Kyoto Kruisers @FreoDockers (1-1)
If this match up was played last week it would have seen the Storm victorious by 1 point, so this should be a close tight knit affair. The Storm have their scoring based around a solid midfield with Bri Harrington bouncing back to her normal scoring last week, while the Kruisers came off a solid win (did I mention that my team beat yours @Chloe?) but will need another spectacular performance from Montana Ham and Georgie Prespakis to maintain the rage.

First match this week is Richmond v Essendon at TIO Stadium in Darwin starting at 7.15pm EST, so make sure your teams are all in well before then. Best of luck to all coaches for Round 3
