Round 10 is held during AFL Round 13 and GWS and Tigers players will be on their bye, we have a week off in AFL Round 12 and can start to plot midseason trade and draft plans in the meantime.

The 8 upcoming fixtures, with current top 8 teams in bold are:-

Walpole Woylies (6-3, 4th) vs Drouin Dropbears (7-2, 2nd) – this seasons 3 week knockout finals format means these games are less about cut-throat battles for top 4 positions but more for testing out game plans while holding something in reserve for potential rematches late in the year. Notwithstanding both teams are capable of hitting the scoreboard hard and will look to play a free-flowing style in a battle for supremacy.
Port Lincoln Power (6-3, 7th) vs Sherwood Magpies (7-2, 3rd) – the winner of this game will go a long way towards securing a second successive finals campaign after both teams broke long finals droughts in 2025. Season points against suggests that this one will be a dour battle.
Useless Loop Virgins (5-4, 9th) vs Neptune Island Noahs (6-3, 6th) – the Virgins sit 9th on season points scored and will need to knock off higher placed sides in the run home if they are to qualify for a 5th successive finals campaign. The Noahs are too good to miss finals but will need to produce a standard Noahs like professional performance in a danger game that threatens a rare 3 successive losses in a row if they fail to salute.
Mt Thirsty Boozers (6-3, 5th) vs Wedge Island White Pointers (4-5, 11th) - one the Boozers will expect to win against a White pointers side who are more than capable of an upset on their day.

Macquarie Island Whales (5-4, 8th) vs Rutherglen Fugitives (4-5, 10th) – this week’s game is a must win for both teams with the Whales aiming to secure their first finals campaign since 2021 and the Fugs likewise since 2022.
Heard Island Shags (1-8, 15th) vs Black Swamp 29ers (7-2, 1st) – the Shags are playing their 170th match this week but will find it tough going against a 29ers side sitting on top after 9 rounds.
Nangkita Bucks (3-6, 13th) vs Maralinga Atoms (3-6, 12th) – an 8 pointer with MSD and PSD draft pick order ramifications as both teams now look long odds to make the 2026 finals
Jan Juc Ducks (0-9, 16th) vs The Stony Ponys (2-7, 14th) – the Ducks are now holding an 0-39 record in their last 39 games while the Ponys look at least a 2 or 3 win better side than their current ladder position suggests.

    Good luck all
